Safety Instructions
Please read this installation and user guide carefully before installing and using the product, paying special attention to the safety instructions. Keep the instructions for reference or for the next owner. Disconnect the product from the power supply prior to cleaning or maintenance.
The diversion of exhaust air must be carried out in accordance with instructions issued by the appropriate authority.
Exhaust air must not be directed into flues that are used for fumes from items such as gas, wood or oil-burning stoves or fireplaces.
The distance between the stove and the product must be at least 44 cm. For gas hobs, the distance should be increased to 65 cm. Adjust accordingly if the stove manufacturer recommends a higher mounting height. Note! If the product has a stove alarm or stove guard, it must not be mounted over a gas hob. See separate instructions.
You must not flambé food underneath the product.
For safety reasons, the installation and replacement of cables or other types of connectors should only be carried out by a qualified professional.
If the product is to be used at the same time as products that use energy sources other than electricity, i.e., gas hobs, gas, wood or oil-burning stoves or fireplaces, etc, the room must have an adequate supply of air.
The product may be used by children from 8 years of age and persons with mental, sensory or physical impairment, or a lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are given information about how the product is to be used.
Children should not be allowed to play with the product. Children must not undertake cleaning or maintenance of the product unsupervised.
Accessible parts of the product may become hot when food is being prepared.
A fire is more likely to spread if the product is not cleaned as frequently as indicated.
Note: The developer or proprietor is responsible for ensuring installation is carried out correctly and complies with the applicable building regulations.
General Information
The product features LED lighting (6.5 W), aluminium filters, an EC motor, and the Easy Clean system.
Functions

- A. Lighting.
- B. Ventilation mode. Opens damper. Returns to basic ventilation after 60 minutes.
- C. Opens damper. Fan speed 1.
- D. Opens damper. Fan speed 2.
- E. Opens damper. Fan speed 3.
- F. 1. Timer extension (+30 minutes). Can be activated when one of buttons B-E is activated. Switches to remaining time for activated mode. 2. Filter guard: If the filter guard is activated, the LED on button F will flash when the filter needs to be cleaned. After cleaning, press and hold button F for 2 seconds to reset the system.
The damper and motor close automatically after 60 minutes, returning the central fan to standard mode. This can also be done manually by pressing the active button again.
It is recommended to turn on the fan before cooking to prevent cooking smells from spreading. Adjust fan speed according to the type of food. Allow the fan to run in ventilation mode for a few minutes after cooking. Ventilation mode can also be used when the oven is in use or after using the dishwasher.
The product is equipped with a filter guard. To activate/deactivate, see Programming section.
Programming
1. Start programming: Press and hold buttons A and B for 3 seconds until both flash 3 times. Programming mode is active for 30 seconds.
2. Select function: Press the button for the desired function to activate/deactivate it.
- Button F: Filter guard. The LED on the button lights up when activated.
3. Save programming: Press and hold buttons A and B for 3 seconds. Buttons A and B will flash twice to confirm saving.
Attention! If the product has a stove alarm or stove guard, refer to separate instructions.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Filter
The cooker hood should be cleaned with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid. Filters should be cleaned at least every other month with normal usage, or more often with intensive use.
Fig. 2: Removing the grease filter: Open the snap retainer. Handle the filter carefully to avoid bending. Soak the filter in warm water with washing-up liquid. The filter can also be washed in a dishwasher. Refit the filter, ensuring it snaps firmly into place.
Cleaning Other Parts
Attention! Ensure the damper is in the closed position when removing and refitting.
The interior of the cooker hood, removable parts, and the damper should be cleaned at least twice a year.

Fig. 4: Removing the blower: Bend the snap retainer outwards and push the blower away and down.
Fig. 5: Removing the impeller: Pull in the direction of the arrow.
Clean the bottom plate, blower, and impeller with warm water and washing-up liquid. The blower and impeller can also be washed in a dishwasher. Reassemble parts in reverse order after washing and drying.

Fig. 7: Refitting the blower: Align supports in the rear of the hood, ensure damper shaft is correctly positioned in the blower, then bend up the blower.
Fig. 8: Securing the blower: Ensure all snap retainers fit the hood lugs. Twist the blower into the lugs, then press the blower's snap retainer back into its lug.
Attention! Check that parts snap firmly into place.
Troubleshooting
Check that the fuse is intact. Test all functions to identify issues. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the product's power supply. Check that the connector is not bent or twisted.
Attention! If the product has a stove alarm or stove guard, follow the separate instructions for troubleshooting.

Environmental Information
Materials
The main raw materials used in the product are:
- Metals: stainless sheet metal, galvanized sheet metal, zinc, aluminium.
- Plastics: polypropylene, polyamide, polycarbonate, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT).
- Glass.
All components comply with the RoHS Directive.
Packaging and Product Recycling
Packaging should be deposited at your nearest recycling point.
The symbol indicates that the product must not be treated as household waste. It should be taken to a collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic components. Proper disposal helps prevent negative environmental and health effects. For more information, contact your local authority, waste disposal service, or the store where you purchased the product.
Eco-Design Directive
The product has been tested in accordance with and meets the ecodesign requirements of European Regulation 66/2014.
Electrical Installation
Connection for 230 V~ earthed.
The product is supplied with a cable and earthed plug for connection to an earthed socket. The socket should be accessible after installation is complete. The junction box or wall socket must be accessible after installation is complete. If the connector is damaged, it must be replaced with an equivalent special cable from the manufacturer or their service agent.
Installation
Tools required: Saw, drill, tape measure, T10 bit.
Fixings: Ax4, Bx4.
Dimensions: The diagram shows key dimensions including a cutout diameter of Ø125 mm, a depth of 180 mm, a height of 220 mm, and widths of 490 mm, 498 mm, 598 mm, or 698 mm depending on the model.
Mounting Heights:
- Gas hob: Minimum 650 mm clearance.
- Electric hob: Minimum 440 mm clearance.
Installation Steps:
- Step 1: Mount the hood unit using appropriate fixings (indicated by '1' on page 15).
- Step 2: Connect the electrical supply and prepare for ducting (visuals on page 16).
- Step 3: Ensure correct ducting connection (visual check on page 16).
- Step 4: Secure the hood unit (visuals on page 16).
Adjusting Air Flow
Note! Damper adjustment and speed changes must be carried out by a qualified professional.
Setting the damper: Air flow is adjusted using the damper. Access is gained by removing the filter, underplate, and fan housing.
Changing the speed: Product speeds can be changed by reprogramming via the switch. Contact Cylinda Service for assistance.
Basic Flow (Ventilation): Basic ventilation is set by moving the sliding damper (A) to the desired position according to marking (B), as shown in the diagram.
Performance Diagrams:
The diagrams on pages 19 and 20 illustrate the relationship between airflow (qy), static pressure drop (Pt), and sound levels (LpA and LWA) for various settings. These charts, along with K-factors, are used for dimensioning and performance calculations.
