Motion sensor, Detector 120 - 277,120 VAC Version
Model: UM01/FU, UM01
Product Features
On/off function
The motion detector activates lighting based on detected movement. When the detector is active, lights turn on automatically when needed and off when no motion is detected.
Scenario 1: The light remains off during daytime, even if movement is detected, provided the ambient lux level is above the preset daylight threshold.
Scenario 2: With detected movement and insufficient ambient lux level, the light is triggered on by the detector.
Scenario 3: If no movement is detected, the light automatically turns off after the configured hold-time.
Wiring
The wiring diagram illustrates the connection of Live (L), Neutral (N) input power, and the switched Live (L') and Neutral (N) output to the control gear, connected to the UM01/FU unit.
Detection Pattern
Ceiling Mounting
Illustrates the detection coverage area for ceiling mounting. The pattern shows distinct zones for high sensitivity and low sensitivity coverage, mapped against height (1-6m) and distance (1-6m).
Wall Mounting
Illustrates the detection coverage area for wall mounting. The pattern shows distinct zones for high sensitivity and low sensitivity coverage, mapped against height (1-9m) and distance (1-9m).
Assembly Notes
- Contains a sensor module and an antenna module.
- Ensure the unit is not shielded by metal objects.
- Installation requires creating a mounting hole.
Settings
1. Sensitivity
Sensitivity is adjustable via DIP switch combinations to suit various applications.
DIP Switch Setting | Sensitivity Level |
---|---|
I | 100% |
II | 75% |
III | 50% |
IV | 10% |
2. Hold-time
Hold-time determines the duration the light remains on at 100% after the last detected movement.
DIP Switch Setting | Hold-time Duration |
---|---|
I | 5s |
II | 90s |
III | 5min |
IV | 15min |
3. Daylight Threshold
Daylight thresholds are preset using DIP switches. If the daylight sensor is disabled, the light will always turn on upon detecting movement.
DIP Switch Setting | Daylight Threshold |
---|---|
I | Disable |
II | 50Lux |
III | 10Lux |
IV | 2Lux |
