VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

The NeurIPS + AMD Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., located at 2485 Augustine Dr., Santa Clara, CA 95054. Visit amd.com for more information. AMD is referred to as the "Sponsor".

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (DC) and Canada. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, or the minimum age of majority in their place of residence (whichever is greater). Additionally, participants must be attendees of the NeurIPS 2024 conference as of the start of the Entry Period and submit a valid Entry.

Entries from individuals residing in countries other than eligible countries, or nationals of Belarus, Burma/Myanmar, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, or any country prohibited by law or export restrictions, are not eligible. Residents of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk are also not eligible.

Employees of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and agents, along with their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, domestic partner, husband, or wife) and those with whom they are domiciled, are not eligible to participate.

By participating, individuals warrant their eligibility under applicable local laws. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose participation or prize receipt could violate local law or damage AMD's reputation.

Participants may be required to submit proof of eligibility.

3. Agreement to Official Rules and Terms

Participation in the Sweepstakes signifies full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Terms, and the Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

These Official Rules and Terms are posted online at: amd.com/en/forms/sign-up/neurips-2024-tue-sweepstake.html.

4. Entry Period

The Sweepstakes begins on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time (PT) and ends on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 7:00 PM PT (the "Entry Period").

Sponsor will randomly select two (2) potential winners on or around Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 7:30 PM PT.

Sponsor's computer systems will serve as the official timekeeping device. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will be disqualified.

5. How to Enter

To earn one (1) Entry into the Sweepstakes, a Participant must:

  • Be an attendee of NeurIPS 2024.
  • Scan the QR code at the AMD booth #142 to access the Sweepstakes Official Rules and Terms and complete the provided registration form.

Upon completing registration, AMD booth staff will provide the Participant with a Sweepstakes ticket. Sponsor will randomly pick one (1) winner and notify them in person at the event and via the email address provided during registration.

Entry Limit: One (1) Entry per person, per account handle. Automated systems are prohibited and will result in disqualification.

In case of a dispute regarding an Entry, the "Authorized Account Holder" of the email address used for registration will be deemed the Participant. The Authorized Account Holder is the natural person assigned the email address by their Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for domain assignment.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, illegible, or misdirected Entries, or for any errors. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify individuals tampering with the Sweepstakes or violating these rules.

6. Winner Selection

Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winner from all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received.

7. Prize Notification and Delivery

One (1) potential winner will be announced at the AMD Booth #142 at NeurIPS 2024 on or around Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 7:30 PM PT.

If a potential winner cannot collect their prize in person, it will be shipped to the address provided during registration.

Within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, potential winners must sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility, Liability, and Publicity Release ("Declaration") to claim their prize. Failure to do so, or if the prize or notification is undeliverable, may result in forfeiture of the prize.

Notice for Resident Entrants in the United States and Canada: AMD may require potential winners to provide Personal Information (PI) for the Declaration, used for Sweepstakes administration and in compliance with the AMD Privacy Notice. AMD may file prize documentation with tax authorities.

IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED PI, DO NOT ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES.

If a potential winner is disqualified, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor is not responsible for changes to participant contact information. Potential winners may waive their right to receive a prize.

Sponsor may terminate, amend, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes at any time if its conduct is compromised by factors such as computer viruses, tampering, fraud, technical failures, etc. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify individuals tampering with the Entry process. Attempts to undermine the Sweepstakes may be violations of law.

Sponsor's failure to enforce any term does not waive that provision. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will still apply.

Released Parties are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect or inaccurate information, printing errors, or omissions.
  • Technical failures (malfunctions, interruptions, disconnections).

NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND TERMS SHALL DISCLAIM, LIMIT, OR EXCLUDE LIABILITY FOR ANY LIABILITY THAT MAY NOT BE DISCLAIMED, LIMITED, OR EXCLUDED PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE LAW.

Except where prohibited, participants agree that disputes will be resolved individually, without class action, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas or the appropriate Texas State Court in Travis County, Texas.

Claims, judgments, and awards are limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees. Participants waive rights to indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages.

These Official Rules and Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations on remedies or damages.
