BATTERY WARNINGS
- Batteries must not be exposed to heat sources, such as fire, sun, or similar sources; remove batteries if they start to heat up or if the appliance is not used for a long time.
- Batteries must be correctly installed in the appropriate battery compartment.
- Dispose of batteries that have reached the end of their useful life or have been damaged in accordance with current national regulations and those listed below.
- In case of battery fluid leakage, remove all batteries, preventing the leaked fluid from coming into contact with skin or clothing. If battery fluid comes into contact with skin or clothing, wash the skin with water immediately. Before inserting new batteries, clean the battery compartment completely with a paper towel or follow the battery manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning.
- Improper use of batteries can cause liquid leakage, overheating, or explosion. This liquid is corrosive and can be toxic. It can cause burns to the skin and eyes and is harmful if swallowed.
- To reduce the risk of injury:
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not heat, open, puncture, cut, or throw batteries into fire.

Maintenance and Storage
Disposal Information
INFORMATION FOR CORRECT BATTERY DISPOSAL ACCORDING TO REGULATION (EU) 2023/1542
Replace batteries when they are depleted. At the end of their useful life, batteries must be disposed of separately from unsorted waste. They must be sent to designated local recycling centers or returned to a retailer that provides this service. Separate disposal of batteries avoids potential negative environmental and human health effects due to improper disposal and also allows their constituent materials to be recovered and recycled, resulting in significant savings in energy and resources. To highlight the obligation for separate disposal, the battery carries the symbol of a crossed-out waste bin.
WARNING FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT ACCORDING TO DIRECTIVE EUROPEAN 2012/19/UE
At the end of its useful life, this equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. It must be handed over to specific local separate collection centers or to distributors that provide this service. Separately disposing of electrical and electronic equipment means avoiding possible negative consequences for the environment and health derived from inadequate disposal and also allows the materials that compose it to be recycled, thus obtaining significant savings in energy and resources. To underline the obligation for separate disposal, the product features a crossed-out waste bin.
Maintenance
CAUTION: ALWAYS REMOVE THE PLUG BEFORE CLEANING OR MAINTAINING THE APPLIANCE. IMPORTANT: DO NOT IMMERSE THE FAN HEATER IN WATER.
Cleaning the external surface of the appliance: Use a soft cloth to remove dust from the heater. If the fan heater is excessively dirty, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a neutral detergent at a temperature below 50°C. Let it dry completely before using the fan heater. Do not apply corrosive detergents or solvents, such as gasoline. Do not wash the appliance with water. Do not use oils, chemicals, or other objects that could damage the surface during cleaning. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the air inlet and outlet grilles.
