Mounting Options
AML offers two mounting bracket options for the Firebird Kiosk:
Adjustable Angle Mounting Bracket (ACC-0794)
This bracket is designed for fast, easy mounting and allows users to choose a mounting angle of 10° or 15°.
15° Quick Mount Wall Bracket (ACC-0793)
This bracket allows for quick and easy mounting of the device to a wall or another flush surface with a 15° backward tilt. It includes kiosk mounting hardware and a locking mechanism.
Power Options
The Firebird Kiosk can be powered using two methods:
Internal Power-over-Ethernet Supply
The unit can be powered via a category 5 networking cable when used with an 802.3af compatible power injector or switch. This method allows both network traffic and power to be sent over the same cable.
External Power Supply, 5VDC, 4A
An external DC power supply can also be used. AML recommends using only their supplied power adapters (AML Part: PWR-7150) as using unauthorized power supplies can damage the unit and void the warranty.
StoreScan Software
AML's StoreScan is a simple yet powerful price-checking software application. It allows retailers to offer customers the convenience of price verification, eliminating the frustration of missing or incorrect pricing. StoreScan provides easy, self-service functionality through AML Kiosks.
