Masimo Rad-97 Pulse CO-Oximeter

Operator's Manual

Introduction to the Rad-97 Pulse CO-Oximeter

The Masimo Rad-97™ Pulse CO-Oximeter® is an advanced, non-invasive medical device designed for continuous monitoring of vital physiological parameters. This operator's manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of the Rad-97 device.

Key features of the Rad-97 include Masimo SET® and rainbow® SET technology for reliable performance, SpO2 and pulse rate monitoring even in challenging conditions such as motion and low perfusion. It also offers continuous, non-invasive monitoring of carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO), methemoglobin (SpMet), and total hemoglobin (SpHb), as well as respiration rate (RRa) determined by an acoustic waveform. The device includes wireless radio capabilities for seamless data transfer.

The Rad-97 is indicated for use with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across various healthcare settings, including hospitals and mobile environments, under both motion and no-motion conditions.

Key Features and Indications

  • Masimo SET® and rainbow® SET technology
  • SpO2 and pulse rate monitoring in motion and low perfusion
  • Continuous monitoring of SpCO, SpMet, and SpHb
