Settings about Audio

1. Audio Settings on Signal Source Receiving Side (Capturing PC - Mac OS System)

For Mac OS System:

Navigate to Settings → Choose Sound → Choose Input → Select USB3 Digital Audio.

2. Audio Input Settings on OBS

In OBS:

  1. Go to Sources.
  2. Click the + button to add a new source.
  3. Choose Audio Input Capture.
  4. Select USB3 Digital Audio from the device list.

3. OBS Audio Monitor Setting (Optional)

If audio monitoring is required:

  1. Locate the Audio Mixer in OBS.
  2. Right-click on the Audio Input Capture source.
  3. Select Advanced Audio Properties.
  4. In the 'Audio Input Capture' column, find the 'Monitoring' row and set it to Monitor and Output.

Settings about Video

1. Video Signal Output Settings on OBS (Windows System)

For Windows System:

  1. In OBS, go to Sources.
  2. Click the + button.
  3. Find and select Video Capture Device.
  4. Click OK to open the properties.
  5. For the Device, choose USB3 Video.
  6. Click Activate.
  7. For Resolution/FPS, choose Customize.
  8. Set Resolution to 1920x1080.
  9. Set FPS to 60.
  10. Set Video Format to MJPEG.
  11. Click OK.

2. Video Signal Output Settings on OBS (Mac OS System)

For Mac OS System:

  1. In OBS, go to Sources.
  2. Click the + button.
  3. Find and select video capture device.
  4. Click OK to open the properties.
  5. For the Device, choose USB3 Video.
  6. Cancel the 'Use Preset' option if prompted.
  7. Set Resolution to 1920x1080.
  8. Set FPS to 60.
  9. Set Video Format to MJPEG.
  10. Click OK.

Warm Tips for Video Capture

If you change the USB port while using the capture card, it is normal for the device to capture nothing. Please delete the video capture device and add it again.

3. Video Capturing Quality Setting on OBS

Configure OBS video quality settings:

  1. Find Controls in the bottom right of OBS.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Navigate to the Video tab.
  4. Set Base (Canvas) Resolution to 1920x1080.
  5. Set Output (Scaled) Resolution to 1920x1080.
  6. Set Common FPS Values to 60.
  7. Click OK.

Next, configure output settings:

  1. On the same settings page, click Output.
  2. For Recording Quality, choose High quality.
  3. Set Recording Format to mp4.
  4. For Encoder, select Software (x264 low CPU usage preset, increase file size).
  5. Click OK.

Warm Tips for Recording Performance

If your computer configuration is low, or if the picture freezes and is not smooth during recording, please adjust the quality of the recorded video appropriately.
