Overview
This document serves as a compliance review letter for the Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Version 4.18, referred to as "the Product." It confirms the integration and validation of a specific cryptographic module within the product's deployment.
FIPS 140-3 Validation Details
The review found that the Product incorporates the following FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic module:
- Cisco FIPS Object Module version 7.3a (Certificate #4747)
Cisco confirms that this module provides cryptographic services for the following, as applicable:
- TLSv1.2, SSHv2, SNMPv3, and Encrypted password (FOM version 7.3a, Certificate #4747)
Testing Confirmation
The review and testing confirmed the following key aspects:
- The cryptographic module initializes in a manner compliant with its Security Policy.
- All applicable cryptographic algorithms for the listed services are handled within the cryptographic module.
- All underlying cryptographic algorithms support each service's key derivation function.
