Grounding Instructions
Electrical Requirements
The electrical requirements are 115 volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15 amp. A separate circuit serving only the product is recommended. The product is equipped with a 3-wire cord and a 3-prong grounding plug, which must be plugged into a properly installed and grounded wall receptacle.
This appliance must be grounded. Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for electric current in case of a short circuit. The provided cord has a grounding wire and plug. Avoid using three-prong adapters or cutting off the third grounding prong, as this is dangerous and provides no effective grounding.
WARNING: Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if:
- The grounding instructions are not completely understood.
- You are unsure that the appliance is properly grounded.
- You have any questions about the grounding or electrical instructions.
Power Supply Cord
Avoid using an extension cord due to potential safety hazards. Have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the appliance. If a longer cord set or extension cord is absolutely necessary, extreme care must be exercised.
Use of Extension Cords with Refrigerators
Only use a grounded extension cord rated at least 15 amps with a third-wire ground. A voltage drop occurs with longer cords, reducing voltage supplied to the refrigerator and increasing current draw or reducing performance. A heavier cord with a larger wire size reduces voltage drop. Ensure the cord supplies enough voltage.

- Do not move the refrigerator by holding the door; lift it from the bottom.
- Place the refrigerator away from heat sources and direct sunlight to maintain performance.
- Do not lift the refrigerator sideways or upside down. If tilting is necessary, the incline should not be less than 45 degrees. Do not use a mobile pulley, as it may scratch the floor.
- The refrigerator uses R600a refrigerants, which are flammable. Avoid collisions or violent shocks during transport to prevent damage to the refrigeration system or risk of fire. [Note: R600a is a flammable refrigerant.]
Responsible Disposal of the Appliance
At the end of its working life, do not dispose of this appliance with household garbage. Electrical and electronic appliances contain materials that can be hazardous to the environment and human health if handled or disposed of incorrectly.
Observe local regulations for disposal of electrical consumer goods and ensure proper recycling and refrigerant recovery. This appliance contains flammable refrigerant isobutane (R600a) and cyclopentane (R141b) in the cabinet insulation and must be disposed of in a separate waste collection. Contact local authorities for recycling facility advice.
Take care not to damage the pipework at the back of the appliance during transportation to prevent refrigerant gas escape. Render the plug useless and cut the power cord directly behind the appliance to prevent misuse.
DANGER: Risk of child entrapment. When discarding a freezer, remove the door and spring/bolt catch. Leave shelves in place so children cannot climb in, get trapped, and suffocate.
Instruction for Usage

Cleaning & Care
Cleaning and Maintaining
The refrigerator should be cleaned and maintained once a month. Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning.
CAUTION: To avoid personal injury or product damage, always read and follow manufacturer's instructions and warnings before using any cleaning products.
WARNING: Always unplug your refrigerator before cleaning to avoid electric shock. Ignoring this warning may result in death or injury.
Power Interruption
In case of a power interruption/outage, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Replug it once power is restored. For long outages, inspect and discard spoiled or thawed foods. Clean the refrigerator thoroughly before using again.
Cleaning Method
Prepare a cleaning solution of 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda mixed with warm water. Use a sponge or soft cloth dampened with the solution to wipe down the refrigerator. Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach, concentrated detergents, solvents, or metal scouring pads, as they may dissolve, damage, or discolor the refrigerator.
Door Gasket
Clean door gaskets every three months. Gaskets must be kept clean and pliable to ensure a proper seal. Applying a light coat of petroleum jelly on the hinge sides of the gaskets will keep them pliable and ensure a good seal.
Vacation and Moving Care
- When going on vacation, empty all food from the refrigerator and freezer. Unplug the unit. Clean it as per the "Cleaning Method" section and leave the door open to prevent odors.
- When traveling or moving, always transport the unit vertically. Moving the unit on its sides may damage the refrigerator and/or its compressor.
Energy Saving Tips
- Locate the refrigerator in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing appliances, heating ducts, and direct sunlight.
- Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing them in the refrigerator. Overloading forces the compressor to run longer, increasing energy consumption and potentially causing food to spoil.
- Wrap foods properly and wipe containers dry before placing them in the refrigerator.
- Do not line shelves with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper towels, as this interferes with cold air circulation and reduces efficiency.
- Organize food to minimize door openings and search times. Remove needed items at once and close the door promptly.
Defrosting
This is a frost-free refrigerator and does not require manual defrosting.
