Program Descriptions

Program Description
Cotton Robust textiles, heat-resistant textiles made of cotton or linen.
Synthetics For washing synthetic items, such as shirts, coats, and mixed textiles. When washing knitted textiles, the amount of detergent should be reduced due to their less dense structure, leading to increased foam formation.
Baby Care For washing baby clothes. It cleans and rinses clothes better to protect baby skin.
Mixed Mixed load, including textiles made of cotton and synthetic fibers.
20 °C 20 °C by default, cold wash can be selected.
ECO 40-60 40 °C by default with no selection possible. For washing laundry at approximately 40 °C-60 °C.
Hygiene Steam Steam is added to the daily laundry wash. This steam penetrates deep into the fibers, effectively eliminating germs and bacteria, preventing odor formation, and protecting your health.
Rapid 45'/15' This program lasts 45' by default. Press the "Boost" button to select a 15' duration, suitable for quickly washing a few lightly soiled items. Items may sometimes contain a lot of moisture at the end of a 15' rapid program.
Jeans Specially adapted for jeans.
Sports For washing sports clothing.
Drum Cleaning Specially designed to clean the drum and tub of this machine. This program uses sterilization at 90 °C to make laundry washing more ecological. This program cannot be run with clothes or other types of laundry. The cleaning effect will be more effective in the drum if an appropriate amount of chlorine bleach is used. The user can use this program regularly as needed.
Wool For washing wool or wool-rich items by hand or machine. A particularly gentle program that prevents shrinkage of items. Longer pauses during the program (when textiles rest in water with detergent).
Spin Only Additional spin with adjustable spin speed.

Note: To find the maximum spin speed, program duration, and other details for the ECO 40-60 program, please refer to the product sheet content. The table indicates the options that can be set for each program. It also indicates if a setting is not available for a program.

C. Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning and Maintenance

Warning! Always unplug the appliance and close the water tap before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation.

Body Cleaning

Proper maintenance of the washing machine prolongs its lifespan. Its surfaces can be cleaned with a neutral, non-abrasive detergent diluted with water, if necessary. In case of water overflow, wipe it immediately with a cloth. Never use sharp objects to clean the appliance.

Attention! Never use abrasive or caustic products, formic acids or diluted solvents, or similar substances, such as alcohol or chemical products.

Drum Cleaning

Any rust stain left in the drum by metallic items must be removed immediately with non-chlorinated detergent. Never use steel wool to clean the drum!

Door Seal and Porthole Cleaning

Note: Keep laundry away from the machine when cleaning the drum.

Wipe the porthole and seal after each wash to remove lint and stains. Lint accumulation can lead to leaks. Remove parts, buttons, and other objects from the seal after each wash. Clean the door seal and porthole every month to ensure the proper functioning of the appliance.

Inlet Filter Cleaning

Note: Reduced water flow indicates that the filter needs cleaning.

  1. Close the water tap and disconnect the water inlet hose.
  2. Clean the filter with a brush.
  3. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the back of the machine. Remove the filter with long-nosed pliers.

Detergent Drawer Cleaning

  1. Press the release button [] on the softener cover, then remove the detergent drawer from its housing.
  2. Lift the softener cover to remove it from the detergent drawer and clean the cover and drawer with water.
  3. Clean the inside of the housing with a brush.
  4. Replace the softener cover and reinsert the drawer into the housing.

Note: Do not use abrasive or caustic products to clean plastic parts. Clean the detergent drawer every 3 months to ensure the proper functioning of the appliance.

Drain Pump Filter Cleaning

Warning! Ensure the wash program is finished and the machine is empty. Turn off the machine and unplug it before cleaning the drain pump filter. Be careful of hot water. Let the water cool down. Risk of burns! Clean the filter periodically every 3 months to ensure the proper functioning of the washing machine.

  1. Open the lower cover.
  2. Pivot by 90°, remove the emergency drain hose and remove the hose cover.
  3. Once the water has drained, replace the drain hose.
  4. Open the filter by turning clockwise.
  5. Remove foreign objects.
  6. Close the lower cover.

Attention! Ensure the valve cover and emergency drain hose are correctly replaced. The covers must align with the holes in the plate, otherwise water may leak. Some machines are not equipped with an emergency drain hose. Steps 2 and 3 can then be ignored. Directly turn the lower cover to drain the water into a basin. When the appliance is in use and depending on the selected program, there may be hot water in the pump. Never remove the pump cover during a wash program. Always wait for the appliance to finish the program and be empty. Ensure you tighten the cover firmly when replacing it.
