Installation and Setup
1. Install the Device
Safety First: To avoid electric shock, please turn off the power before installing the device.
Screw the SONOFF B02-F bulb into a compatible light socket (E26 or E27, depending on the model).
2. Download the eWeLink App
Download the "eWeLink" application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can also scan the provided QR code [QR Code for eWeLink App] for direct download links.
3. Power On and Pairing
After powering on the bulb, it will automatically enter Quick Pairing Mode. The device is indicated to be in this mode by a "breathing" light effect [Light Bulb Breathing Effect], where the light gently pulses.
Quick Pairing Mode
If the device is not paired within 3 minutes, it will exit Quick Pairing Mode. To re-enter this mode, manually toggle the light switch OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON at approximately 1-second intervals [1s Interval Light Switching Animation]. The "breathing mode" will then indicate the device is ready for quick pairing.
Compatible Pairing Mode
If Quick Pairing fails, you can use Compatible Pairing Mode. With the light on, press the light switch 5 times repeatedly at 1-second intervals (OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON) [1s Interval Light Switching Animation]. The light will then flash quickly [Quick Flash Light Effect], indicating it has entered Compatible Pairing Mode.
4. Add the Device in the eWeLink App
Open the eWeLink app. Tap the "+" icon [Plus Symbol] on the main screen and select "Add Device". Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
For Compatible Pairing Mode, after tapping "+" and selecting "Compatible Pairing Mode", you will be prompted to connect your mobile device to the Wi-Fi network named ITEAD-****** with the password 12345678. After connecting, return to the eWeLink app and tap "Next". Be patient until the pairing process is complete.
Usage as an Ordinary Bulb
When powered on without being paired to a Wi-Fi network, the bulb will enter its pairing mode (cycling through brightness levels). If powered off after 10 seconds in this state, it will then remain solid and emit warm light at its highest brightness, functioning like a standard bulb.
Troubleshooting (Common Problems)
Why my device stays "Offline"?
- Incorrect Wi-Fi Password: Ensure you have entered the correct Wi-Fi password for your network.
- Distance and Interference: The distance between your router and the device may be too great, or environmental factors may cause interference. Try moving the device closer to the router. If unsuccessful, try re-adding the device.
- Wi-Fi Network Compatibility: The SONOFF B02-F only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. 5GHz networks are not supported. Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz band.
- MAC Address Filtering: If MAC address filtering is enabled on your router, it may prevent the device from connecting. Please disable this feature.
If none of the above solutions resolve the issue, you can try creating a Wi-Fi hotspot using your mobile phone's data connection and then attempt to add the device again.
Factory Reset
To reset the device to its factory default settings, turn the light switch OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (3 times) at approximately 1-second intervals [1s Interval Light Switching Animation] while the light is on. The device will then enter the quick pairing mode, indicated by the "breathing mode" [Light Bulb Breathing Effect].
Perform a factory reset if you wish to connect the device to a different Wi-Fi network.
