We understand that there may be many questions and concerns that arise during the use of the projector. We are also eager to hear your feedback. Many common problems, such as inability to auto focus or keystone, sound issues, WiFi or Bluetooth connection issues, can usually be resolved with appropriate settings adjustments.

3. Important Precautions

Please use the device correctly:

  • Do not face the lens into eyes because the strong projector light may cause injury to the eyes.
  • Do not block the air inlet/outlet of the device in order to avoid damage to internal electronic devices arising from normal heat dissipation failure.
  • Do not wipe the lens directly with cleaning tools including paper and cloth to avoid damage to the lens. Please clean up the dust on the lens through clean air blowing.
  • Do not wash the device with chemicals, detergents, or any liquid to prevent the circuit board from being corroded by rainwater, or moisture mineral-containing liquids.
  • Keep the device and its components and accessories out of reach of children.
  • Make sure that the device is used in a dry and ventilated environment.
  • Do not store the device in excessively hot or cold places, because extreme temperatures will shorten the life of electronic devices. Place and use the device in an environment of 0°C-40°C.
  • Do not put the device into any heating equipment (such as a dryer and microwave oven) for drying.
  • Do not firmly extrude the device or place barriers on it or its back to avoid damage to the device.
  • Do not throw, strike, or sharply vibrate the device to avoid damage to the internal circuit board.
  • Do not try to disassemble and assemble the device yourself. If any issue occurs, please contact the after-sales service of Yaber.

8. Installation

8.1 Projection Distance

The diagram illustrates projection sizes and corresponding distances:

  • 150" screen: 4.15 meters (13.62 feet)
  • 120" screen: 3.31 meters (10.89 feet)
  • 80" screen: 2.21 meters (7.26 feet)
  • 60" screen: 1.66 meters (5.45 feet)
  • 30" screen: 0.83 meters (2.72 feet)

Tips: The recommended screen size is 80 inches.

Tips: Actual projection size and distance may deviate slightly from laboratory data.

8.2 Angle Adjustment

For a better image, please try to place the projector on a stable, flat surface. If you need to adjust the screen at a larger angle, you can rotate the carrying handle to the bottom, which provides support at certain angles (up to 15%).

Notice: Please ensure that the area in front of the focus receiver is not blocked, otherwise the focus function will be affected.

8.3 Ceiling Mounting

Note: T2 Plus does not support four-corner mount installation.

Step 1: Make sure you have a universal mounting bracket that can fit the projector.

Step 2: Use the stand with an M5*5mm screw to fix the projector on the bracket to complete the installation.

The projector has a screw hole on the bottom for mounting, compatible with M5*5mm screws.

8.4 HDMI, USB, Lan Port

The T2 Plus has an HDMI 1.4 port and a USB 2.0 port. Before using these ports, ensure your external devices are compatible with these formats.

USB: T2 Plus currently only supports reading FAT32 and NTFS USB flash drives, and does not support reading exFAT formatted USB flash drives.

HDMI: If you encounter troubles while using HDMI, try these solutions:

  • Method 1: Switch HDMI EDID version to 1.4 in your external device settings.
  • Method 2: Try changing the HDMI cable.
  • Method 3: Try replacing with other external devices with HDMI function and check if the HDMI interface is working.

Lan: The Lan interface is an RJ45 interface. If you encounter lag when using the same screen with your phone, you can use this interface to connect to the network and use the same screen.

9. Operation

9.1 Starting Up the Projector

  1. Connect the Power Cord: Attach one end of the power cord to the power input port on the Yaber T2 Plus Projector.
  2. Plug into Power Source: Insert the other end of the power cord into a compatible power socket.
  3. Turn on the Device: Press the power button located on the top of the projector to turn it on.

9.2 Remote Control Pairing

For first-time use, please follow the guidelines provided and long press the pairing buttons (e.g., Back and OK) on your remote control to pair your T2 Plus projector.

9.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

  1. Select "Settings" on the home page and navigate to "Network & Internet."
  2. Choose "Wi-Fi" and select your home's Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password and press "OK" to connect.

9.4 Auto Keystone Correction

As you move the machine, the T2 Plus automatically performs trapezoidal correction, depending on the target wall.

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Keystone correction].

Notice: The angle of the auto keystone cannot exceed 15 degrees up, down, left, and right.

9.5 Auto Focus

Auto focus will be activated after each shift.

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Focus].

You can also adjust the focus by clicking the focus buttons on the remote control to get your desired picture.

Notice: If you have already determined the location of the projector, it is recommended that you turn off autofocus in the settings to get a better viewing experience.

9.6 Auto Obstacle Avoidance

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Keystone correction] > [EasyView].

Notice: When using the Auto Obstacle Avoidance functions, make sure the Auto Keystone and Auto Focus functions are turned on.

Notice: Obstacle avoidance may not work when there are white or other light-colored objects in the target screen.

9.7 Auto Screen Alignment

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Keystone correction] > [EasyFit].

1. The backdrop should have a distinct black or other colored border, except for anti-light screens which do not require a border.

2. Please ensure the projection screen is larger than the screen area, and do not block the area within the central square frame of the screen.

Notice: When using the Auto Screen Alignment functions, make sure the Auto Keystone and Auto Focus functions are turned on.

9.8 Manual Keystone Correction

If you need to adjust the screen further, you can adjust the screen by dragging the arrows.

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Keystone correction] > [Manual keystone correction].

9.9 Projection Zoom

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Screen setting] > [Screen Zoom].

Notice: After auto-focusing, the zoom effect will be reset. If you want to save the zoom, please try to turn off the auto focus.

9.10 Picture Settings

You can set the [Picture Mode], [Brightness], [Contrast], [Sharpness], [Saturation] of the screen in Picture settings.

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Picture].

9.11 Power Button Functions

Pressing the power button on the top of the projector once can turn it on. With the cable charger connected, pressing the power button again will turn off the screen and enter standby mode. To turn off the projector completely, long press the power button at the top.

10. Wireless Connections

10.1 Screen Cast

Currently, Google TV does not support direct screen mirroring via Bluetooth. You can find third-party screen mirroring software in the app store to achieve this function, or use the built-in screen mirroring function in streaming media applications to project video content onto the screen.

10.2 Bluetooth Settings

You can connect your phone to the projector via Bluetooth and enter Bluetooth speaker mode anytime after confirmation. Please pair the device named [Yaber_T2 Plus Smart Projector].

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Remotes & Accessories] > [Pair accessory].

10.3 Bluetooth speaker mode

In Bluetooth Speaker mode, you can also turn off the screen and use the T2 Plus as an outdoor stereo.

Tips: You can find this function in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Bluetooth speaker mode].

11. Google TV

11.1 How to set up your Google TV account

When you turn on the T2 Plus projector for the first time, the system will prompt you to log in to your Google email account. After logging in, it will take about 15 to 20 minutes to set up your Google TV. Please follow the Google TV guidelines; this includes automatically set contents and manual settings, such as family account members.

Notice: When using Google TV for the first time, follow the screen prompts for remote control pairing and other settings. To pair, hold down the pairing buttons (e.g., Back and OK).

Notice: Please complete the entire account setup process under an available internet connection.

11.2 System Upgrade

Tips: You can check the system status of your device in [Settings] > [Apps] > [Manage Updates] > [See available updates].

12. About Battery

12.1 Battery Life

The Yaber T2 Plus is equipped with a battery that will give you 2.5 hours of use in battery mode (at 60% brightness).

Tips: You can check the Battery information of your device in [Settings] > [Projector] > [Battery information].

Notice: You can also adjust the settings to increase the brightness of the screen, but the duration will be shortened.

Notice: As the number of times the machine is used increases, the battery life may be affected.

12.2 Charging Time

When the machine is turned off, the charging time from 0 to 100% is 3.5 hours. When the machine is turned on, the charging time from 0 to 100% is 5.5 hours.

For first-time use, we recommend you fully charge your projector using the provided power cord.

12.3 Charging Indicator Light

When the Power light is Blue, it means the battery is completely charged. When the Power light is Red, the battery is charging.
