The Askar SQA55 is a high-performance optical tube assembly (OTA) designed for both astrophotography and general photography. It features a 55mm aperture and a 264mm focal length, resulting in a fast native focal ratio of F4.8. This telescope is engineered to deliver excellent star point performance, making it a valuable tool for capturing celestial objects and detailed terrestrial scenes.

- Focuser: A dual-speed focuser provides independent coarse and fine adjustment. The fine adjustment includes a central indicator point, a focusing travel of ±1mm, and a locking screw. The coarse adjustment features a reference scale for focusing distance and MXL-type timing teeth for electronic focuser compatibility.
- Rotator: The lens tube and 360° rotator have independent locking screws, allowing for full-body rotation or precise angular adjustments for astrophotography.
