This document provides assembly instructions for the Bowers & Wilkins FS-805 D4 speaker stand. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure correct assembly.

The following parts are included in the package:
- a (x2): Speaker stand uprights
- b (x2): Speaker stand bases
- c (x12): M6 x 15mm screws
- d (x8): Spikes
- e (x8): Spike locking nuts
- f (x2): Top plates
- g (x12): M4 x 10mm screws
- h (x12): M4 x 16mm screws
- i (x1): 3mm Allen key
- j (x1): 4mm Allen key
- k (x1): 5mm Allen key
- l (x1): Small rod
- m (x1): Wrench
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Base and Uprights
Attach the two uprights (a) to one of the bases (b) using four M6 x 15mm screws (c) per upright. Ensure the uprights are correctly oriented.

Step 2: Attach the Second Base
Invert the assembled section from Step 1. Attach the second base (b) to the top of the uprights (a) using four M6 x 15mm screws (c) per upright. Ensure the bases are aligned correctly.

Step 3: Secure the Uprights
Use the 4mm Allen key (j) to secure the uprights (a) to the base (b) using M4 x 10mm screws (g) and M4 x 16mm screws (h).

Step 4: Attach the Top Plates
Attach the top plates (f) to the uprights (a) using the remaining M6 x 15mm screws (c). Use the 5mm Allen key (k) for this step. Ensure the correct orientation of the top plates.

Important Note on Spike Length:
- When attaching the spikes (d), ensure they do not exceed 32mm in length.
- When attaching the spike locking nuts (e), ensure they do not exceed 28mm in length.

Step 5: Route Speaker Cables
Carefully route the speaker cables through the designated channels in the uprights (a).

Step 6: Fill the Stands (Optional)
For enhanced stability and sound performance, the uprights (a) can be filled with dry sand (silver/play/silica). Ensure the stand is upright before filling.

Step 7: Final Assembly
Attach the top plates (f) to the stand assembly using the provided screws (g, h) and Allen keys (i, j).

Step 8: Mount the Speaker
Place the speaker onto the assembled stand. Ensure it is securely positioned.
