Initial Setting (Reset)
If the time screen is blank, plug the timer into an outlet before programming. If numbers are displayed, programming can commence. It is recommended to reset all settings before programming. The reset button, labeled 'R', is located below the [HOUR] button. Use a paper clip or pen tip to press the reset button. See Figure 1.

Current Time Setting
- Press and hold the [CLOCK] button throughout the setting process.
- Press the [HOUR] button to set the hours.
- Press the [MIN] button to set the minutes.
- Press the [DAY] button to select the correct day of the week.
- Release the [CLOCK] button. The time is now set.

Programming the On/Off Times
There are 20 ON/OFF settings available. See Figure 2 and Figure 3.
- Press the [SET] button once. The display will show '1 ON --:--'.
- Press the [HOUR] and [MIN] buttons to set the desired ON time.
- Press the [DAY] button to select the day(s) for this setting. Multiple weekday groups can be selected.
- Press the [SET] button to save and proceed to the '1 OFF --:--' screen.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for each ON/OFF setting. Pressing [SET] again cycles through the 20 ON/OFF settings.
IMPORTANT: The timer must be in [AUTO ON] or [AUTO OFF] mode for programmed settings to operate. Refer to the "Switching Mode Indication" section.
Multiple Weekday Switching Groups
The [DAY] button allows selection of individual days or combinations:

After selecting a combination, the ON/OFF setting applies to the configured days.
Reset Button
Press the [SET] button to select the ON/OFF setting to be changed. Press the [3] button to reset the current ON/OFF setting without scrolling through all hours. See Figure 4.

Switching Mode Indication
The current mode ([ON], [AUTO ON], [OFF], or [AUTO OFF]) is displayed. Press the [MANUAL] button to cycle through these modes for manual override. See "Manual Override Option" section.
Manual Override Option
The [MANUAL] button allows switching the timer ON or OFF. Repeatedly pressing [MANUAL] cycles through ON, AUTO ON, OFF, and AUTO OFF modes.
Operational Modes
The timer operates in several modes:
- ON: Ignores programmed settings; the timer outlet is permanently switched ON.
- AUTO ON: The digital timer stays ON until the next programmed OFF time and operates according to programmed settings.
- OFF: Ignores programmed settings; the timer outlet is permanently switched OFF.
- AUTO OFF: The digital timer stays OFF until the next programmed ON time and operates according to programmed settings.
Tips for Temporarily Overriding Current Programs
- To turn the timer outlet ON when it is OFF: Press [MANUAL] until [AUTO ON] is displayed. The timer will remain ON until the next scheduled OFF time.
- To turn the timer outlet OFF when it is ON: Press [MANUAL] until [AUTO OFF] is displayed. The timer will remain OFF until the next scheduled ON time.
Programming Countdown Feature
See Figure 5.
- Press the [SET] button until the 'CTD' icon appears.
- Use the [HOUR] and [MIN] buttons to set the duration for the device to be ON before turning OFF.
- Press the [CLOCK] button to save the setting and return to the main display.
Activating the Countdown Feature
See Figure 6.
- Press the [HOUR] and [MIN] buttons simultaneously to activate the countdown feature.
- Other features:
- Press the [MANUAL] button to pause or resume the countdown when on the countdown display.
- Press the [CLOCK] button to switch between the clock and countdown display.
- To deactivate the countdown, press [HOUR] and [MIN] simultaneously. If paused, this will restart the countdown.

Random ON/OFF Setting
This feature randomizes your current setting by +/- 30 minutes to simulate occupancy and deter intruders. See Figure 7.
- Press and hold the [HOUR] button for 3 seconds to activate the random feature. The display will show the 'RND' icon.
- Press and hold the [HOUR] button for 3 seconds again to deactivate the random feature. The 'RND' icon will disappear.

Daylight Saving Time (DST)
See Figure 8.
Press and hold the [CLOCK] button for 3 seconds to advance the current time by 1 hour (the '+1h' icon will appear). Press and hold [CLOCK] for 3 seconds again to decrease the time by 1 hour (the '+1h' icon will disappear).

Power Back Up Feature
In case of a power failure, the timer retains its settings for approximately 3 months, assuming the internal power backup is fully charged.
Caution
- Risk of electric shock. Do not use on extension cords or receptacles where the ground tap cannot be connected.
- Avoid high humidity, high temperature, and high magnetic fields.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Do not plug this timer into another timer switch.
- Do not touch the device with wet hands.
- Do not insert needles or other metal objects into the mains outlet.
- Do not connect devices that exceed the timer's performance limits.
- Do not open the timer. Repairs must be performed by authorized service personnel only.
