Key Updates
BOCK® Compressor Decompression Valve Update
Danfoss is updating its BOCK® compressors by removing low-pressure (LP) decompression valves and, for subcritical compressors, high-pressure (HP) valves. This change, effective May 5, 2025, aims to minimize leakage and malfunctions. The valves will still be available as spare parts.
AK-XM 102A/102B Extension Modules with Software 2.02
Due to the end-of-life of the existing microcontroller, Danfoss is releasing new versions of the AK-XM 102A and AK-XM 102B extension modules with software version 2.02. This update maintains functionality while utilizing an alternative microcontroller.
Alsmart Firmware and Design Updates
New firmware (version 1.32.000x) and Alsmart Design software (version 1.08.0003) are now available, offering enhanced stability, new features, and improved interfaces for the Alsmart universal controller platform. Python scripts are also available for advanced controller management.
AK-PC 782A/782B Software Version 4.15
A new software version 4.15 for the AK-PC 782A and AK-PC 782B controllers is released, enhancing CO2 P-T reporting and addressing critical point behavior. This update is optional.
StoreView Web (SvW) Version 3.3.1
Version 3.3.1 of StoreView Web has been released, bringing improvements to usability, configuration, and stability. A previous connectivity issue has been resolved.
Optyma™ Slim Pack Piping Modification
Danfoss has modified the discharge piping design for certain Optyma Slim Pack models to ensure reliable operation under various working conditions, addressing rare abnormal vibration findings.
Optyma™ Plus Inverter Settings Advisory
A notification regarding potential incorrect inverter settings on specific OPTYMA Plus Inverter models manufactured between week 12 of 2024 and week 6 of 2025. Correcting these parameters will ensure the units operate at their intended cooling capacity. A maintenance visit is required for correction.
Data Matrix Introduction for MBC and MBV Products
Danfoss is introducing Data Matrix codes (DMC) and manufacturing dates on labels for MBC pressure switches, thermostats, and MBV test valves to improve product traceability. This change is effective from March 1, 2025.
