DVD Player Controls
This document outlines the controls and functions of the DVD player.
Understanding the DVD Player Interface
The DVD player features a touch-sensitive screen for operation. WARNING: Drivers should not be distracted by the touch screen or operating it while driving. Distraction can lead to accidents with severe injuries or fatalities.
WARNING: Prolonged exposure to loud sounds (over 85 decibels) may negatively affect hearing.
Important Notes:
- Video playback is automatically blocked while the vehicle is in motion. Refer to "PROHIBITION OF VIDEO VIEWING DURING VEHICLE OPERATION" for more information.
- Select the media source on the screen using SELECT SOURCE. Refer to "DEVICE CONTROL".
Control Functions:
- Options: Touch to access options like Zoom In/Out, Audio, Angle, and Subtitle. The available options may vary depending on the inserted DVD.
- DVD Titles: Touch to display a list of DVD chapters.
- DVD Menu: Touch to enter the DVD menu. The "Top Menu" option is displayed only if supported by the DVD. "Resume" allows playback to continue. Use the menu navigation buttons to scroll through menu options. You can also access the DVD menu by touching the screen in full-screen mode.
- Source: Touch to display all multimedia source options.
- DVD Information: Touch to enter full-screen mode. Controls can be displayed at any time by touching the screen again, or by swiping the touch screen to go to the previous or next chapter.
- Playback Progress Bar: Touch or move the slider to fast forward or rewind the current DVD.
- DVD Shortcut: Touch to open the DVD screen.
- Seek Forward: Touch and release to go to the next DVD chapter. Touch and hold for fast forward.
- Pause/Play: Touch to pause playback. Touch again to resume.
- Seek Backward: Touch and release to go to the previous DVD chapter. Touch and hold for fast rewind.
- Settings Icon: Touch to access the pop-up SETTINGS menu. Select "All Settings", then "Features", then "Media" to enable or disable the "Auto Play DVD on Loading" function.
Multimedia device controls can be accessed through the multimedia system or the steering wheel. Refer to "DEVICE CONTROL" or "AUDIO CONTROL ON STEERING WHEEL". Information about the CD/DVD loading slot and the eject button can be found in the "LOADING DISCS" section.
