About the PLATSA System

The PLATSA series offers a modular system for creating sleep and storage solutions for spaces of all sizes. It consists of open, lightweight frames that can be combined to build high or low, under sloping ceilings, or along entire walls. You can easily add doors, shelves, wire baskets, and hooks as needed. The system is designed for easy assembly and disassembly, making it adaptable to changing needs.

Care and Cleaning

Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner. Then dry with a clean, dry cloth.

IMPORTANT: 2 persons are required to assemble this furniture safely.

Storage and Media Solutions

The PLATSA system provides flexibility for building solutions under staircases, around windows, or above doors. Combine PLATSA frames with HJÄLPA and LÄTTHET interior and exterior components to create your ideal setup. You can also choose from suggested combinations or design your own using the online planner tool.

Easy Assembly and Disassembly: The wedge dowel fitting allows for quick and easy assembly and disassembly, ideal for moving.

Safety: Always attach PLATSA frames to a wall. Wall attachment devices are sold separately. If stacking frames, ensure those at 3 meters or above are secured with the LÄTTHET suspension rail. Warning: Do not hang PLATSA frames with a depth of 55 cm on a wall; they must be placed on the floor or stacked on another floor-standing frame.

Sleep and Storage Solutions

The PLATSA bed offers a space-saving solution by combining sleep and storage. It can be used as a room divider, part of a walk-in closet, or as a freestanding piece to create a dynamic room layout. You can add 60/120/180 cm high and 40 cm deep PLATSA frames on top of the footboard, complemented by LÄTTHET footboard panels and HJÄLPA interiors and doors. The sides underneath the bed can be personalized with HJÄLPA interiors and storage boxes. Slats, legs, and top panel are included with the bed.

Easy Assembly and Disassembly: The PLATSA bed is quick and easy to assemble and disassemble.

Safety: Maximum building height from the floor to the top of the footboard (excluding top panel) is 220 cm. Do not drill holes into the footboard panel. Use no-drill hooks for accessories. Maximum load is 6 kg.

How to Build (Bed)

1. Bed frame: Consider your storage needs and room placement.
2. Choose frames for the footboard: Determine the height and type of storage needed (hanging, folded clothes, books, etc.).
3. Footboard panel: Select the number of panels needed; each panel is 60 cm high.
4. Choose interiors: Select boxes, inserts, and integrated lighting for your new bed solution.
5. Pick door and drawer front style: Choose your preferred aesthetic.
6. Choose mattress and mattress topper: Ensure the mattress is between 120-140 cm wide and 200 cm long.
