Mi Air Purifier Pro User Manual
WARNING
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if supervised or instructed on safe use and understanding the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by children without supervision.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a genuine part from the manufacturer or after-sales service.
Precautions
- Turn off and unplug the purifier before moving it.
- The purifier will not turn on if the fan grille and filter compartment cover are not installed correctly.
- Maintain at least 20 cm distance between air inlets and walls or other objects.
- Regularly remove dust, hair, and particles from the outer mesh screen of the filter to reduce bacterial growth.
- Remove dust, hair, and particles from the purifier's air inlets to prevent reduced air intake.
- Cover the air outlet to prevent dust, hair, and particles from entering when the purifier is unused for extended periods.
To avoid fire, electric shock, or other damage, follow these instructions:
- Do not excessively pull, twist, or bend the power cord, as this may expose or break its core.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Use only the provided power cord; do not use third-party cords.
- Always unplug the purifier before maintenance or moving.
- Immediately stop using the purifier if it makes unusual sounds, emits bad odors, overheats, or its fan rotates irregularly.
- Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into protective parts, movable parts, air inlets, or air outlets.
- Keep hair and fabrics away from the purifier to avoid blocking air inlets or outlets.
- Do not sit on, lean on, or tilt the purifier.
- When using with gas-fueled appliances, ensure sufficient ventilation to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.
- Do not pour liquids or throw powders or small substances into the purifier's air outlet.
Do not use the purifier in the following circumstances:
- Near open flames (candles, stoves, cigarettes, etc.).
- Near high-temperature appliances (electric heaters, irons, etc.).
- Ensure no inflammable objects enter the purifier.
- In unstable locations where the purifier can easily fall.
- In extremely hot, humid, or damp environments (e.g., bathrooms).
Product Overview
The Mi Air Purifier Pro features a display, a power/mode button, a light sensor, a fan grille, screen on/off and filter reset buttons, temperature/humidity sensors, and a laser particle sensor. The filter compartment is located at the back.
Front View: Features a display and a power/mode button. The air inlets are located around the lower part of the unit.
Back View: Features the fan grille at the top, screen on/off and filter reset buttons, temperature/humidity sensor, laser particle sensor, and the filter compartment panel. The power cord connection is at the bottom.
Air Inlet Spacing: Maintain a distance of at least 20 cm between the air inlets and walls or other objects for optimal purification.

For better purification, maintain a distance between the air inlets and walls or other objects. It is recommended to close doors and windows during purification.
Connect the power cord
- Open the filter compartment panel.
- Take out the power cord.
- Connect the power cord.
How to Use
Power/Mode Button
Press the power/mode button to turn the purifier on and switch between modes. Press and hold for two seconds to turn the purifier off.
Screen On-off Button
Press the screen on-off button located at the back of the purifier to turn the screen on or off.
Screen Display
The screen displays the following information:
- PM2.5: Displays the concentration of fine particulate matter.
- Air Quality Indicator:
- Green: 0-75 μg/m³
- Orange: 76-150 μg/m³
- Red: 150 μg/m³ or higher
- Temperature: Displays the current ambient temperature.
- Humidity: Displays the current ambient humidity.
- Wi-Fi: Indicates the Wi-Fi connection status.
- Mode:
- Auto: Automatically switches modes based on air quality.
- Night: Operates at low noise for a quiet environment.
- Manual: Allows manual adjustment of settings.
Resetting the Wi-Fi
If your phone cannot connect to the air purifier, simultaneously press and hold the mode and light buttons for 5 seconds. A beep indicates successful Wi-Fi reset.
Connect with Mi Home / Xiaomi Home App
This product is compatible with the Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app. Control your device using the app. Scan the QR code provided in the manual to download and install the app, or search for "Mi Home / Xiaomi Home" in your app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add your device.
Note: The app name may be "Xiaomi Home" in Europe (excluding Russia). Refer to the app name displayed on your device. The app version may be updated; follow the current app version's instructions.
Filter Replacement
The average filter replacement period is 6-12 months. The purifier will indicate when the filter needs replacement by displaying the remaining filter life on the screen.
Refer to the Filter Replacement label inside the filter compartment panel for detailed instructions. Ensure the purifier is turned off and unplugged before replacing the filter.
After replacing the filter, turn on the purifier and press and hold the filter reset button for 6 seconds. A beep confirms the filter has been successfully replaced and the service time reset.
Note: Purifiers with an RFID label at the bottom do not require manual reset.
If the filter becomes saturated with harmful gases and emits odors, place the filter in a sunny, ventilated area to eliminate the odor.
Maintenance
Turn off and unplug the air purifier before performing maintenance.
Clean the Filter Cabinet
For optimal performance, use a vacuum cleaner or a soft cloth to remove dust from air inlets and cabinet walls.
Clean Laser Particle Sensor
Use a non-sharp tool to open the laser particle sensor cover. Use an air blower or hairdryer to clean the sensor and its back cover. Do not use hot air.
