Assembly & Unfolding

Important Information

Assembly Steps:

  1. Fitting the Saddle to the Seatpost: Slide the Pentaclip onto the seatpost, positioning it about halfway up the small top section of the seatpost, above the O-rings. (Refer to diagram showing saddle, rails, seatpost, Pentaclip, O-rings).
  2. Adjusting the Saddle Position: Position the saddle rails roughly halfway between maximum fore and aft. Adjust the saddle angle to point slightly downward so it is level when unfolded. Tighten the Pentaclip bolt firmly with the supplied 5mm hex key. (Refer to diagram showing 5mm hex key). Test the saddle position by riding the bike and adjust as needed.
  3. Fitting the Hinge Clamps: Fit hinge clamps into the handlebar support hinge and main frame hinge. Hinge clamps should remain loose when the bike is folded. (Refer to diagram showing hinge clamps).
  4. Unfolding the Pedal: Stand on the side opposite the handlebar. Pull the pedal away from the bike. (Refer to diagram showing pedal).
  5. Handlebar: Push down firmly on the handlebar to release it from the frame, then swing it upward into place. Firmly tighten the hinge clamp.
  6. Saddle: Open the seat clamp lever, raise the seat, and close the seat clamp lever. (Refer to diagram showing seatpost adjustment).
  7. Front Wheel: Place your right hand on the saddle and grasp the handlebar support with your left hand near the hinge. Lift the handlebar support to unhook the front wheel. Swing your left hand forward, pushing the front wheel forward until the hinge is closed. (Refer to diagrams showing front wheel unfolding).
  8. Rear Wheel: Hold the handlebar with your left hand and lift the bike by the saddle with your right hand to swing the rear wheel backwards into position. Put the bike down and apply downward pressure to lock the rear frame in place; a click indicates it is locked. (Refer to diagrams showing rear wheel unfolding and frame locking).
  9. Pre-Ride Checks: Ensure hinges are closed properly, tires are inflated to 100psi, and brakes function correctly.
