The IVP 1000 Pet Smart motion sensor features passive infrared ray detection technology, with advanced signal analysis technology that prevents accidental triggering. Care and safety » This product is intended for INDOOR environments. » The Pet function is intended for crawling animals weighing up to 20 kg. If the animal is on top of a bench, for example, the Pet function can be canceled. » Do not use the sensor in areas with sudden changes in temperature such as air conditioners and heaters, fans, refrigerators and ovens. Do not expose the sensor directly or to sunlight reflections. » Avoid touching the surface of the PIR, if necessary, use a soft cloth for cleaning. » Do not place objects in front of the sensor. To secure the detection area, avoid curtains, screens, or any object that blocks the scan. » Wireless communication technology, when exposed to environments with high power radiation, can suffer interference and have its performance impaired. Example: locations near TV towers, AM/FM radio stations, ham radio stations, routers, etc. » The sensor must be installed where a possible intruder is easily detected, that is, where there is movement across the sensor's detection beams. » The recommended installation height is between 2.0 and 2.40 meters. If the sensor is installed at a different height than specified, its detection and Pet function may be impaired in order to nullify the Pet immunity. » LGPD General Personal Data Protection Law: Intelbras does not access, transfer, capture or perform any other type of processing of personal data from this product. Installation The sensor must be installed on a flat, fixed, flicker-free surface with a height between 2.0 and 2.4 meters. It is recommended to install the sensor parallel to the wall for the greatest detection range. If the sensor is installed tilted or with the use of an articulator, its detection range and Pet function may be impaired in order to nullify the function. To install the sensor, follow the procedure below: » Open the sensor front cover using a screwdriver or similar tool. » Insert the battery observing the polarity indicated on the product plate. The LED will blink for a few seconds (stabilization time), when it goes off, the sensor will already be in normal operation. Note: do not register the sensor in the central during the stabilization time, wait for it to start working. » To register the sensor code in the alarm control panel, check the procedure in the manual of the used alarm control panel and trigger a trip or press the PROG button located on the sensor board. 7 » Install it in the location to be protected using the screw locations as shown in the following figures: Wall mount seals Seals for installation in corners » Close the case by snapping on the top of the front cover first and descending perpendicularly towards the bottom of the sensor. Important: the IVP 1000 Pet Smart was designed for indoor and closed areas and with the presence of animals of up to 20 kg, so do not use it for protection of outdoor or open areas and with the presence of animals of more than 20 kg. 5. Sensitivity setting The sensor has a selector switch for sensitivity adjustment, where it is possible to adjust between the 3 detection levels. » 1P: maximum sensitivity for motion detection; » 2P: medium sensitivity (factory default); » 3P: minimum sensitivity for greater robustness against accidental shot. 8 6. Operation When energizing the sensor, it runs in test mode for 15 minutes so that all sensor positioning adjustments can be made. During this period, at any motion detection the LED lights up and a trigger is generated. After the test mode, the sensor goes into economic operating mode, so that when it detects movement it turns on the LED, triggers and goes into hibernation, remaining for a period that can last from 30 seconds (environment with little movement) up to 2 minutes (environment with a lot of movement). During this sleep period the LED is not activated and no new triggers are generated, as a notification has just been sent to the control panel. After the sleep time, the sensor goes back to monitoring the environment until detecting a new movement. This ability to learn from the movement of the environment means that periodic and non-continuous shots are generated in places with high movement, in turn, saving battery. After inserting the battery, the LED is blinking and there is no detection. At any detection the LED lights up and generates a trigger. After detecting the first movement, the sensor turns on the LED, triggers and enters the sleep period. During this period the LED does not light and no new triggers are generated. After the hibernation time, the sensor returns to detect and generate triggers in the central, starting the cycle again. 30 seg - 2 min 15 min Period of stabilization Trial period Time the sensor remains on Economic mode LED » Blue LED: indicates the sensor is in supervised mode, » Red LED: indicates the sensor is in unsupervised mode. 9 7. IVP 1000 Pet Smart sensor supervision adjustment The IVP 1000 Pet Smart sensor allows you to select between supervised (FSK) and unsupervised (OOK) modes. To switch between supervision modes press and hold the PROG button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED flashes 2 times. When the LED flashing blue it changed to supervised mode (FSK), when the LED flashing red it changed to unsupervised mode (OOK). Factory default: unsupervised. When changing the modulation on the sensor, it is necessary to delete the sensor from the alarm center and register it again. The type of supervision to be used will depend on the receiver's compatibility with the control panel. 8. Tamper function This function sends a tamper trip to the control unit, in case the sensor is violated through its front cover. This function can be enabled when the sensor is configured to operate in supervised mode (FSK). For this function to work, the zones must be configured to identify the Tamper. When the sensor is opened, the zone will be open and the Tamper event will be generated. The zone will remain open until the sensor is closed. This function is available on the AMT 4010 Smart (from version 5.0) and ANM 24 NET (from version 6.1.0) control panels. To configure on the switch: enter programming mode with installer password, then enter the following command. AMT 4010 SMART Note: the zones that can be configured with this function are 17 to 64. And they can be programmed according to the command below: Enter + 78 + G + Enter (G) - Zone Group 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Zones 1 to 8 (not applicable) 9 to 16 (not applicable) 17 to 24 25 to 32 33 to 40 41 to 48 49 to 56 57 to 64 10 ANM 24 NET If this functionality is enabled, that is, if key 1 is lit, the wireless sensor will send a tamper trip to the control panel, in case it is violated through its front cover. To disable this functionality, press the 1 key so that the key is unlit. To complete the setup process press the Enter key. If you have typed the command to configure the tamper function and want to cancel the operation, just press the Cancel key. Note: the zones that can be configured with this function are 05 to 24. And they can be programmed according to the command below: Press Press key 1 to enable (lit) key 4 or disable (off) 4+ + + Enter Enter the zone (05 to 24) 2 beeps will be emitted press the Enter key Five confirmation beeps will be emitted 9. Test Once installed and energized, walk in the area to be protected simulating a possible intrusion. Observe if the sensor is able to detect your movements during the journey, by lighting the lens. Adjust its sensitivity if necessary or reposition the sensor installation. 11 10. Low battery sensor The IVP 1000 Pet Smart sensor controls the battery level and if it is critical (equal to or below 2.5 V) it sends the information to the control panel during triggering. In addition, the sensor also signals through the LED, after each activation of the sensor the LED lights up (as usual) and then flashes indicating low battery. Use only quality batteries with the correct sizing for the device, and with typical use of the device, the expected battery life is 1 to 2 years, which may be influenced by the number of activations, weather conditions and mode of settings. The battery model must be CR123A 3V, using one (1) battery per sensor. 11. Battery replacement To replace the product's battery: » Remove the dead battery; » Press the PROG button or wait a few seconds for the circuit to completely discharge; » Connect new battery. 12.
