1. Insert SIM Card
Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the STRONG 4G+ LTE Router. Carefully insert your SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is oriented correctly as indicated by the slot's design.
2. Install Antennas
The router comes with two external antennas. Follow these steps to install them:
- Screw each antenna into the corresponding ports on the back of the router (2.1).
- Ensure the antennas are securely fastened (2.2).
- Adjust the antennas upwards for optimal signal reception (2.3).
3. Connect Power
To power on the router:
- Connect the power adapter cable to the router's power input port (3.1).
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical wall outlet (3.2).
- Press the power button on the router to turn it on (3.3).
4. Wait for Connection
Allow a few moments for the router to boot up and establish a network connection. The Wi-Fi indicator light on the front of the router will illuminate when it is ready for use.
Important Note: If your SIM card requires a PIN code, you will need to enter it through the router's web interface, as described in steps 6 and 7, to activate the mobile broadband connection.
5. Connect to the Router
You can connect your device to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
5a. Connect via Wi-Fi
On your computer or mobile device, open your Wi-Fi settings. You should see two Wi-Fi network names (SSIDs) broadcast by the router:
- STRONG_XXXX_2.4GHz
- STRONG_XXXX_5GHz
Select one of these networks and enter the Wi-Fi password. The default Wi-Fi name and password, along with other important details, are typically found on a label on the bottom of the router.

- Wi-Fi Name: STRONG_XXXX_5GHz
- Wi-Fi Password: XXXXXXXXXX

5b. Connect via Ethernet
Alternatively, connect your computer directly to one of the router's LAN ports using an Ethernet (RJ45) cable.
6. Access the Web Interface
To configure advanced settings or enter a SIM PIN, access the router's web interface:
- Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) on your connected device.
- In the address bar, type the router's default IP address:
192.168.188.1
and press Enter. - On the login page, enter the default username and password. These credentials are provided on the router's label (as shown in 6.1 and 6.2). The default username is typically 'admin', and the password will be a series of characters.
