Getting Started
To begin, you will need the robot, Home Base®, power cord, and your smart device. For a complete list of box contents, please refer to the back of the package.

Step 1: Set up Home Base
Place the Home Base charging station against a wall and use the power cord to connect it to an electrical outlet.

Step 2: Wake up Roomba
Turn your robot over and remove the yellow bin insert and the battery pull tab. Then, place the Roomba on the Home Base to activate the battery.

Step 3: Roomba is Ready to Clean
Your Roomba has a partial battery charge and is ready to start cleaning. Press the CLEAN button to wake up Roomba, then press CLEAN again to begin cleaning.

Step 4: Download the iRobot HOME App
Gain access to exclusive features, including cleaning while away from home, managing your robot's cleaning schedule, customizing cleaning preferences, and more.
