Product Overview

The Hugolog G3 Light Bulb Camera is an outdoor/indoor security camera featuring Ultra HD lens and sensor, AI motion detection, clear color night vision, 360° auto tracking, siren alarm, and 24/7 recording capabilities. It connects via 2.4GHz WiFi and is managed through the Hugolog Connect App.

Installation

After successfully connecting to the network, screw the camera into the desired installation position. The camera features a lens, microphone, indicator light, reset button, microSD card slot, and power socket.

Network Setup

Requirements: A 2.4GHz WiFi network is required. Ensure your phone's notification settings are enabled for the Hugolog Connect App.

App Download: Download the 'Hugolog Connect' App from the App Store or Google Play. Search for 'Hugolog Connect' (not other Hugolog apps).

Setup Options:

• Option 1: Bluetooth Network Setup: Requires Bluetooth permission for the Hugolog Connect App. The app will search for nearby devices. Confirm the 2.4GHz WiFi network, enter credentials, and click 'Next' to start pairing.
• Option 2: QR Code Network Setup: In the app, navigate to 'Add Device' > 'Video Surveillance' > 'G3-2.4GHz'. Change the network configuration mode to 'QR Code for Camera'. Generate a QR code with Wi-Fi information and scan it with the camera. Press 'I Heard a Prompt' after the camera beeps.

Status Indicator Meanings:

• Solid On: Camera running correctly.
• Flashing Rapidly: Connecting or network abnormal.
• Flashing Slowly: Awaiting WiFi connection.

Troubleshooting: If pairing fails, press the Reset button for 5 seconds and try again. Refer to the FAQ section or contact support@hugolog.com.

Hugolog Connect App Features

Basic Function Settings

• Night Mode: Smart Mode (auto infrared/spotlight), Black & White Mode, Color Mode With Spotlight, Color Mode (starlight technology).
• Talk Mode: One-Way Communication (hold to talk) or Two-Way Talk (tap to talk).
• Flip Screen: Flips the live view screen.
• Watermark: Toggles the brand watermark on the live view.
• Wide Dynamic Range (WDR): Enhances detail in bright and dark areas.
• Status Indicator: Switches the camera's status indicator on/off.
• Offline Notification: Notifies if the camera goes offline.

Other Functions

• Private Mode: Turns off the camera and disables all features for privacy.
• Motion Detection: Sends push notifications upon motion detection.
• Motion Tracking: Automatically tracks moving objects.
• Sound Detection: Sends push notifications upon sound detection.
• Siren: Activate a siren to deter intruders.
• Messages: View alarm notifications.
• Direction (Pan-Tilt Control): Manually adjust camera angle.
• Site: Save current views as presets (up to 6) for quick access.
• Record: Record video clips and save to the gallery.
• Playback: Watch videos saved on the Micro SD card.

• Add to Home Screen: Place a shortcut on the phone's home screen.

Alexa Setup

Prerequisites:

• Hugolog Connect camera powered on and online in the Hugolog Connect App.
• Alexa device and phone connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the camera.
• Camera added to the Hugolog Connect account linked to the Hugolog Connect Skill in the Alexa App.

Steps:

1. Open the Hugolog Connect App and tap 'Link Now'.
2. Log in to your Hugolog Connect account.
3. Search for 'Hugolog Connect' skill in the Alexa App (not 'Hugolog').
4. Tap 'Done' after linking the Hugolog Connect App to the Alexa Skill.
