Connect the Micro-USB end of the charging cable to the power input on the back of the wireless charger. Connect the USB-A end of the cable into a power source* 2. To achieve a 10W fast charge, a quick charge car charger must be used for the power output *Power source options include a car charger or built-in USB-A input in your car. 4 1 3 2 4 3. QUICK START GUIDE MOUNTING ON VENT, WINDOW OR DASH All mounting options connect to the charger with a ball and screw fastening. To use your chosen mount: 1. Loosen the screw fastening by turning it left 2. Place the ball mount of your chosen option into the fastening 3. Tighten the screw fastening by turning it right VENT MOUNT 1. Connect the air vent clip to the screw fastening as shown above 2. Slide the air-vent clip over the vehicle vent louvre. The air-vent clip is designed to be rotated to fit onto different louvre thicknesses 5 3. QUICK START GUIDE DASH MOUNT 1. Connect the air vent clip to the screw fastening as shown previously 2. Connect the windshield mount to the screw fastening as shown previously 2. Stick the windshield mount to the desired position on your windshield 3. Use the lever to tighten in place Lever 7 3. QUICK START GUIDE POSITIONING YOUR DEVICE Sprout's Wireless Car Charger can be adjusted to suit your device's wireless charging location. This location varies by device. · To adjust the side arms, press the release button on the back of the charger to extend them fully. Then position your device and press the arms back in to place · To adjust the bottom arm, gentle pull or push it into place 8 3. QUICK START GUIDE INDICATOR LIGHT · Red and blue lights will flash alternately when the Wireless Car Charger is first connected to power · The blue light will stay illuminated when the charging pad begins to charge the phone · For Samsung devices, the light will turn red when the phone is fully charged and charging will stop · For iPhones, the light will remain blue and continue charging. iPhones will manage their battery levels to prevent overcharging · The blue light will flash continuously and stop charging if a foreign body (eg magnetic pad, metal case, incompatible phone) is on the charging pad NOTE: If you are charging your phone in a case, the charging speed may be impacted and even result in intermittent or discontinued charging. Cases with a thickness of more than 5mm or containing metal or magnets should be removed prior to charging. 10 4. Improper use of this product may result in product damage, excess heat, toxic fumes, fire or explosion. · Important: Do not use the heater when the Sprout Wireless Car Charger is attached to the vent. Alternatively, re-direct heat to other vents to avoid hot air being blown onto the Wireless Car Charger · Do not use the Wireless Car Charger near an open fire, heat source or excessive heat · Do not attempt to power this device using any method, apparatus, or connection other than the device's Micro-USB connector. For questions or instructions on how to power the device refer to the illustrations in this user manual · Do not disassemble this device or attempt to modify it in any manner · Do not put metal objects or magnets between the mobile device and the wireless charging surface All Sprout products go through thorough quality assurance inspections. If you find that your device is excessively hot, is emitting odour, is deformed, abraded, cut or is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal phenomenon, immediately stop all product use and contact Sprout. 12 6. DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS At the end of the useful life of your Wireless Car Charger, please recycle through your local e-waste collection point. If you are unsure of your local e-waste collection point, please consult your local council for details. 13 6. CONSUMER GUARANTEE Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty does not affect your legal statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. For more information about your rights under Australia Consumer Law go to www.accc.gov.au. Your Wireless Car Charger is warranted to the original owner for 24 months from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. The warranty does not cover misuse of this product and liability will not exceed the purchase price of the product.
