OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Battery Supply Open the battery compartment and insert as indicated in the compartment one Rechargeable Battery, Li-ion 3.7V or 3 x AAA cells.
Battery Charging (using rechargeable battery) Insert rechargeable battery to the unit. Connect the unit by inserting the charging cable into DC 5V IN jack, and inserting the other end into the USB interface or USB charger. The charging time is around 2 hours. The charging indicator will flash during battery charging.
DC Adapter To use 5V AC/DC adapter for external DC charging, plug the connecting cable to the DC charging port. (Voltage adapter is an optional accessory. Do not charge the battery with the AC / DC adapter for more than 24 hours.)
IMPORTANT If the unit has not been used for a long period of time, the rechargeable battery may be completely discharged into a "sleep mode" condition. This is the characteristics of all the rechargeable battery. For the first time to recharge (to wake up) the battery, it is recommended to charge for a period exceed 5 hours but not exceed 24 hours.
Switch On The Radio 1. Connect the unit with Li-ion 3.7V rechargeable battery or 3xAAA cells or DC adaptor 2. Press POWER once to enter DAB / FM Mode 3. During DAB / FM mode, press POWER once to standby mode or press and hold POWER to switch on / switch off the unit.
DAB Mode Auto Scan 1. Adjust the antenna extension and angle to have the best reception. 2. Press POWER to switch on the unit. 3. The first time the radio is powered and switched on, it will automatically select DAB mode and start a quick scan of the DAB channels to search for available stations. Please leave it to complete this process. 4. Press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to select desired station. Note: You may have to wait for the unit to tune into the new channel. 5. Press SCAN can fully scan the available channels again.
Manual Scan 1. Hold INFO/MENU, the display shows MANUAL, then press SELECT. 2. Press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to select desired channel (5A-13F), press SELECT to enter the channel. 3. Select station by using LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( )

FM Radio 1. Press POWER to switch on the unit. 2. Press MODE to select FM mode. 3. Select your station by using LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) 4. Or press SCAN for auto tuning
· Press SCAN once to forward search next station · Hold SCAN to backward search previous station 5. Adjust the sound with VOLUME + or VOLUME ­.
DAB / FM Radio Stations Preset: You can store the frequencies of up to 20 radio stations in the memory. A stored frequency can be erased from the memory by storing another frequency in its place.
1. In DAB or FM mode, tune to your desired station. 2. Hold PRESET until the display Preset Empty with flashing 1-20 (1-20 is the preset position number)
If the preset number is empty, "Preset Empty" is shown. If the position is saved with station, station frequency is shown. 3. Press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to select the desired memory location. 4. Press SELECT once to confirm and save the selected station. 5. To listen to a preset station: · Press PRESET once, · press the LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) for selecting your desired station and press SELECT to confirm.
Setting The Alarm 1. In standby mode 2. Press ALARM, to select Alarm 1 / Alarm 2 (ON / OFF is flashing) 3. Press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to change between OFF and ON. Press SELECT to confirm. 4. To set the hours, press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) while the display is still flashing. Press SELECT to minute setting. 5. To set the minutes, press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) while the display is still flashing. Press SELECT to confirm. 6. Alarm Mode: Daily, Once, Weekends (Saturday / Sunday, Weekdays (Monday to Friday), is flashing. Press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to select desired alarm mode and press SELECT to confirm. 7. Alarm Type: Beeper, FM, DAB is flashing. Press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to select desired alarm type and press SELECT to confirm. 8. Alarm volume is flashing, press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to select desired alarm volume and press SELECT to confirm to save the setting and exit.

Snooze Function 1. When your alarm rings, you can press the SELECT to temporarily suspend the alarm. The alarm will ring again at 9 minutes later. (The Snooze interval time is 9 minutes). 2. Snooze will be repeated until the ALARM / POWER is pressed.

Factory Reset
In DAB or FM mode, press and hold INFO/MENU, then press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT
( ) and SELECT to enter "Factory Reset" and see "No" or "Yes". Press LEFT ( ) or RIGHT ( ) to "Yes" and press SELECT to confirm, then the unit will be reset to original setting.

Volume Adjust the volume with the controls VOLUME + or VOLUME You may connect headphones with 3.5mm, plug to socket HEADPHONE. The loudspeaker is then muted.

Key Lock Press and hold SELECT five seconds to activate key lock function (display shows a lock logo), all keys will be no function. To deactivate the key lock function, press and hold SELECT five seconds (lock logo disappear from display).

PRECAUTIONS:
1. Do not leave the batteries in the compartment for a long time. Remove the batteries to avoid leakage and damage.
2. Do not expose the unit to extreme temperature nor high humidity to ensure normal functioning for a long lifetime. For instances, never place the unit in bathing areas nor around stoves and radiators.

3. If you find the unit is not working properly, please take it to your nearest services center. Do not attempt to repair by yourself.

WARNING:
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet, refer to service agent or qualified engineer only.
