FINGERS 2Mic-ThunderBox Quick Start Guide

Welcome to your FINGERS 2Mic-ThunderBox. This guide will help you set up and use your new portable karaoke speaker.

I. Important - Warnings and Safety

  1. Do not place the speaker near heat sources such as fire, radiators, stoves, and other apparatus that produce heat.
  2. Use only accessories supplied by FINGERS.
  3. Unplug the speaker/Mic once it is fully charged, when unused for long periods of time, or during lightning/thunderstorms.
  4. It is recommended to refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the speaker has been damaged in any way. Any evidence of any attempt to open and/or alter the device, including any scratch, peeling, puncturing, or removal of any of the labels, will void the Limited Warranty.

III. On-board Controls

A. Speaker

The speaker features various controls for playback and functionality:

  • Volume Knob: Controls the main volume. Can also adjust Mic Volume and Mic ECHO Volume.
  • Repeat: Repeats songs in USB and MicroSD mode (single song or all songs).
  • MIC PRI/Vocal Cut: Short press for Mic Priority Mode, long press for Vocal Cut.
  • Mode: Switches between Bluetooth (BT), FM Radio, USB, MicroSD, and AUX modes.
  • LED M.: Changes RGB Light modes (6 changeable modes).
  • Play/Pause: Plays or pauses music. Also used for TWS connection.
  • Record (REC): Short press to record Mic Voice (requires USB insertion), long press to delete recording.
  • Bluetooth: Short press to go to Bluetooth Mode, press again to disconnect.

Speaker Diagram Description: A top-down view of the speaker shows the main controls. A large central knob is labeled 'VOLUME'. Around it are buttons for 'Repeat', 'MIC PRI / Vocal Cut', 'EQ', 'Record / Bluetooth', 'MODE', 'RGB Light I Mode', 'Play/Pause', 'Next Track', and 'Previous Track'. Ports visible include 'TYPE-C USB', 'TF', 'AUX', and 'MIC IN', along with a 'POWER ON/OFF' switch and a 'CHARGE' indicator.

IV. Connections

The speaker offers various connection ports:

  • Type-C Port: For charging the speaker.
  • USB Interface: Insert a USB drive to play music.
  • MicroSD Slot (TF): Insert a MicroSD card to play music.
  • AUX: Connect an external audio source via an AUX cable.
  • Mic Interface: For connecting wired or wireless microphones.
  • On-Off Switch: Powers the speaker on and off.
  • LED Indicator: Shows charging status.

Connections Diagram Description: The rear or side panel of the speaker displays several ports and controls. Labeled are 'CHARGE', 'TYPE-C USB', 'USB', 'TF', 'AUX', 'MIC IN', and 'POWER ON/OFF'. A numbered list indicates the function of each connection: 1. Type-C Port (Charge), 2. USB Interface (Play USB drive), 3. MicroSD Slot (TF) (Play MicroSD card), 4. AUX (Plug in AUX cable), 5. Mic Interface (Wired/Wireless Mic connection), 6. On-Off Switch (Power On-Off), 7. LED Indicator (Charging Indication).

V. Charging the speaker

  • Connect the speaker using the provided or an available Type-C cable.
  • The LED indicator will show red while charging.
  • The LED indicator turns off when the speaker is fully charged.

VI. Modes

Enjoy your music through various modes:

  • i. Bluetooth Mode: The speaker defaults to BT mode upon switching on. If another source is connected, press 'MODE' until 'BT Mode' is heard. You can also press the Bluetooth switch on the speaker. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, find 'FINGERS 2Mic-ThunderBox' in the device list, and select it. A 'Connected' prompt will confirm pairing.
  • TWS Setting: To pair two FINGERS 2Mic-ThunderBox speakers: Bring them close, switch them on, and long press the play-pause button on both. They will automatically interconnect. After connecting to one speaker, the second will connect automatically. Note: TWS function is only for pairing two FINGERS 2Mic-ThunderBox speakers in Bluetooth mode.
  • ii. FM Radio: Press the 'M' button until 'FM Mode' is heard. Long press the 'Play/Pause' button (?️) to scan stations automatically; press again to stop. Long press 'Previous Track' (?) and 'Next Track' (?) to select desired FM channels. Short press 'Mute' (?) to mute the FM.
  • iii. MicroSD: Insert a MicroSD card into the provided slot to play tracks directly.
  • iv. USB: Insert a USB device (Pen Drive) into the provided port to play tracks directly.
  • v. AUX: Insert an AUX external audio cable; the system will automatically play back with priority.

VII. REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control allows for convenient operation:

  • 1. On-Off: Switches the speaker on and off.
  • 2. Mode: Navigates through BT, USB, MicroSD, AUX, and FM radio modes.
  • 3. Stop: Stops the current playback.
  • 4. Play/Pause: Single press to play or pause the playlist.
  • 5. Mute: Short press to enable mute; press again to disable mute.
  • 6. Vol+: Short press to increase the volume.
  • 7. Next Track: Short press to change to the next track.
  • 8. Prev Track: Short press to change to the previous track.
  • 9. Vol-: Short press to decrease the volume.
  • 10. RPT: Repeats the track (One: repeats current track; All: repeats all songs) in USB/MicroSD card mode.
  • 11. EQ: Short press to change Equalizer modes.
  • 12. 0 to 9: Selects desired track or saved FM Channel in USB, MicroSD, and FM Modes.

Remote Control Diagram Description: The remote control features a power button, a 'MODE' button, a 'STOP' button, a 'MUTE' button, volume up ('VOL+') and down ('VOL-') buttons, track navigation ('CH-' for previous, 'CH+' for next), a 'RPT' button, an 'EQ' button, and a numeric keypad (0-9). The 'Play/Pause' button is also prominently displayed.

VIII. Care and Maintenance

  1. Switch off the speaker before cleaning.
  2. Use a soft cloth to clean the surface.
  3. Do not use chemicals, solvents, or cleaning solutions containing alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives.
  4. Do not allow any liquid to enter into any of the openings.
