Quick Start Guide

Important safety instructions
1. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Powering on and connecting the radio

1. Power your radio.
When you first use your radio, connect it to a USB charging port or USB power adapter supplying 5V / 2.4A. The radio's Battery charging indicator will turn solid green to indicate the radio's internet battery is being charged and turn off when the battery is fully charged. The radio will automatically turn on when connected to a USB power source. The radio's display will light up and show "SANGEAN".

2. Go through the on-screen startup wizard.

After the radio's software has been loaded, the startup wizard will appear on the display. Follow the on-

that it has an internet connection.

Listening to the radio

1. Turn on the radio by either connecting

it to a USB power source or by

pressing and holding the Power

button to power the radio using its

internal battery.

2. Press the Home button to go to the radio's Main menu.

3. Use the Left and Right button to select the desired mode

and then press the Select button to confirm your choice.

4. Select the Configuration item in the Main menu to

configure the radio's settings. While in the radio's menus,

the Up, Down, Left and Right buttons can be used to

move the cursor or to go to the next screen, while the

Select button can be used to select items. 4
5. In the FM mode, press the Select button and then select

[Yes] to perform an automatic scan and automatically

configure the radio's preset stations. Alternatively, you can

manually search for a channel by either pressing the Left

or Right button to decrease / increase the frequency or by

pressing and holding the Left or Right button to scan for 3-5

the next radio station with a lower / higher frequency.

Note: When using USB power and the DAB / FM service
following function is off, or when the device is powered

by battery, the Wi-Fi connection will be terminated when

switching to FM or DAB mode on the radio to optimize

reception. The AirMusic control app will also be disabled

from controlling the radio.

6. Press the Volume + / - button to adjust the sound level as needed.

7. Storing a preset: After tuning into a station, press and

hold the Preset button for 2-3 seconds then release to

enter the preset setting menu. In this menu, use the

Up, Down and Select buttons to select and confirm the

required preset number.

Recalling a preset: Press the Preset button and then
select the desired preset station using the Up, Down and Select button.

Note: All functions can also be controlled using the AirMusic Control app.

When using the AirMusic Control app, make sure your radio and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and do not press any of the radio's buttons while connecting to avoid interrupting the connection process.

If you would run into issues, try performing a factory reset or disconnect the radio from the USB power source and turn it off for 1 minute and then switch the radio on again.

Écouter la radio

1. Allumez la radio en la connectant à

De radio aanzetten en verbinden
1. Zet uw radio aan. Als u uw radio voor het eerst gebruikt, sluit hem dan aan op een USB-laadpoort of een USB-netstroomadapter die 5V / 2.4A levert. De oplaadindicator van de radio zal groen oplichten om aan te geven dat de internetbatterij van de radio wordt opgeladen, en gaat weer uit wanneer de batterij volledig is opgeladen. Als de radio op een USBstroombron is aangesloten, zal hij automatisch aan gaan. Het display van de radio zal oplichten en "SANGEAN" laten zien".

2. Doorloop de opstartwizard op het scherm.

Nadat de software van de radio is geladen, verschijnt de opstartwizard op het scherm. Volg de instructies op het scherm tot de wizard klaar is. Om de verbinding van uw radio met uw router

Naar de radio luisteren

1. Zet de radio aan door hem aan te

sluiten op een USB-stroombron of door

2. Druk op de Home-knop om naar het Hoofdmenu van de radio te gaan.

3. Gebruik de Links- en Rechts-knop om de gewenste modus

4. Selecteer de optie Configuration in het Hoofdmenu om de

instellingen van de radio te configureren. In de menu's van de

radio kunnen de knoppen Omhoog, Omlaag, Links en Rechts

worden gebruikt om de cursor te verplaatsen of om naar het

volgende scherm te gaan, terwijl de Select-knop kan worden

gebruikt om opties te selecteren.

5. Druk in de FM-modus op de Select-knop en selecteer vervolgens [Yes] om een automatische scan uit te voeren en de voorkeuzezenders van de radio automatisch te configureren. Als u wilt, kunt u ook handmatig naar een zender zoeken door op de Links- of Rechts-knop te drukken om de frequentie te verlagen of te verhogen, of door de Links- of Rechts-knop ingedrukt te houden

om naar de volgende radiozender met een lagere / hogere

frequentie te scannen.

Opmerking: Wanneer u de radio is aangesloten op een USB-

stroombron en de functie voor het volgen van de DAB / FM-

service ('service following') is uitgeschakeld, of wanneer u

batterijvoeding gebruikt, en u overschakelt naar de FM- of

DAB-modus op de radio, dan wordt de Wi-Fi-verbinding uitgeschakeld om de radio-

ontvangst te verbeteren en kan de AirMusic Control-app niet worden gebruikt om de

radio te bedienen.

6. Druk op de Volume + / - knop om het geluidsniveau aan uw wensen aan te passen.

7. Een voorkeuze opslaan: Nadat u op een zender hebt

afgestemd, houdt u de Preset-knop twee of drie seconden

ingedrukt om het menu voor de voorkeuze-instellingen te

openen. In dit menu gebruikt u de Up-, Down- en Select-

knoppen om het gewenste voorkeuzenummer te selecteren

en te bevestigen.

Een voorkeuze oproepen: Druk op de Preset-knop en

selecteer vervolgens de gewenste zender met behulp van de

Up-, Down- en Select-knop.

Let op: Alle functies kunnen ook door middel van de AirMusic Control app worden bediend.

Als u de AirMusic Control app gebruikt, zorg er dan voor dat uw radio en telefoon met hetzelfde Wi-Fi-netwerk verbonden zijn en druk tijdens het tot stand komen van de verbinding niet op een van de knoppen van de radio om te voorkomen dat het verbindingsproces wordt onderbroken.

Als u problemen ondervindt, probeer dan een fabrieksreset uit te voeren of koppel de radio los van de USB-stroombron en zet hem 1 minuut uit. Daarna kunt u de radio weer aanzetten.

Einschalten und verbinden

1. Radio einschalten
Verbinden Sie das Radio vor dem erstmaligen Gebrauch mit einem 5V / 2,4A USBLadeanschluss oder USB-Netzteil. Die Batterieladeanzeige am Radio leuchtet grün und weist somit darauf hin, dass die Batterie des Radios geladen wird. Wenn die Anzeige erlischt, ist die Batterie vollständig geladen. Bei Anschluss an eine USB-Stromversorgung schaltet sich das Radio automatisch ein; das Display leuchtet auf und es erscheint die Anzeige ,,SANGEAN".

Radio hören

können Sie Sender auch manuell suchen. Drücken Sie dafür

die Taste Links oder Rechts, um die Frequenz zu reduzieren

/ zu erhöhen, oder halten Sie die Taste Links oder Rechts

gedrückt, um nach dem nächsten Sender mit der niedrigeren

/ höheren Frequenz zu suchen.

Hinweis: Wenn während der USB-Stromversorgung die DAB/

UKW Service-Following-Funktion deaktiviert ist oder wenn Sie

während des Batteriebetriebs am Radio den UKW- oder DAB-

Modus einschalten, wird die Wi-Fi-Verbindung des Radios

getrennt, um den Radioempfang zu verbessern; es ist dann

nicht möglich, das Radio mit der AirMusic App zu steuern.

6. Verwenden Sie die Lautstärketasten + / - zum Einstellen der

Lautstärke.

7. Sender speichern: Halten Sie nach dem Einschalten eines

Senders 2-3 Sekunden die Speichertaste gedrückt, um das

Menü zum Speichern von Sendern aufzurufen. Verwenden

Sie in diesem Menü die Tasten Aufwärts, Abwärts und

Um die AirMusic Control App verwenden zu können, müssen Ihr Radio und Ihr Handy mit dem gleichen Wi-Fi-Netzwerk verbunden sein. Drücken Sie während des Verbindungsaufbaus keine Taste, um Störungen beim Verbindungsaufbau zu
vermeiden.

Falls Probleme auftreten, versuchen Sie das Gerät zurückzusetzen. Oder trennen Sie das Radio von der USB-Stromversorgung und schalten Sie es aus. Warten Sie dann 1 Minute und schalten Sie es wieder ein.
