The UTSUND is an LED string light designed for outdoor use, powered by batteries. It features multiple light points connected by a flexible cable.
Safety Warnings and Usage Instructions
- ⚠️ Before storing: Always remove the batteries.
- ⚠️ Usage Warning: This lighting chain must not be used without all gaskets in place.
- ⚠️ Hazard Warning: Strangulation hazard. Hang out of reach of young children.
- ? Light Source: The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
- ? Cable: The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
- ? Battery Usage: Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands, or types.
Battery Installation
Follow these steps to install batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment, typically at one end of the string light.
- Unscrew the cap or cover of the battery compartment. This may require a screwdriver for some models.
- Insert the required batteries (e.g., 2x AA batteries) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace and secure the battery compartment cover.

Timer Function
The UTSUND string lights feature a built-in timer. The timer allows you to set the lights to operate automatically.
How to Use the Timer:
- The timer typically has settings such as ON, OFF, and a 6-hour timer (often indicated by '6H').
- When set to the 6-hour timer mode:
- The lights will automatically switch OFF after 6 hours of operation.
- The lights will automatically switch ON again at the same time the following day.
This function helps conserve battery life and provides convenient automatic lighting.
