Safety Instructions

General Electrical Safety

• ⚠️ Mains Connection: Ensure the voltage complies with that shown on the appliance label.
• ⚠️ Never pull the mains cable with damp hands. Disconnect the mains plug in case of faults during use, prior to cleaning, relocation, or after use. The plug must be within reach at all times.
• ⚠️ Regularly check the power cable, appliance, or extension lead for defects. Never switch on damaged appliances. Have repairs carried out by the manufacturer, their service point, or qualified experts. Never open the appliance yourself – risk of injury!
• ⚠️ Never carry or pull the appliance by the flex. Do not pull the flex over sharp edges. Do not wedge it. Do not bend it. A short circuit can occur if the cable breaks.
• ⚠️ Switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the mains when it is not in use. Do not wind the flex around the appliance.
• ⚠️ Never immerse the appliance in water or other fluids. Danger of short-circuiting!
• ⚠️ Do not use this appliance near water (bathtubs, washbasins, etc.) nor expose it to rain or other humidity. Ensure hands are dry when using the appliance.
• ⚠️ Should the appliance fall into water, only take it out after pulling the plug. Do not use the appliance anymore. It must be checked by an authorized service department first.

Child Safety and User Capabilities

• Children aged 8 years or over and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lacking experience or knowledge, may only use the appliance if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they have been shown how to use the appliance safely and have understood the inherent risks.
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its power cable out of reach of children aged under 8. Never leave the appliance unattended while in operation.
• Keep packaging materials (e.g., plastic bags) away from children.

Usage and Placement Safety

• ⚠️ Never place the appliance or cable on hot surfaces or near open flames. Do not store/expose the appliance to intense heat (from radiators, prolonged sunshine).
• Use only attachments recommended/sold by the manufacturer.
• The appliance is designed for household use and not for industrial operation. Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
• Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.
• ⚠️ Never place fingers or objects into appliance openings. Do not cover appliance openings.
• ⚠️ Never place the appliance on soft cushions/pillows or blankets during operation.
• ⚠️ Do not cover air intake and exhaust apertures during operation – risk of fire!

Repairs and Warranty

• Only trained experts should repair electrical appliances. Unskilled repairs can cause considerable danger to the user.
• No warranty for any damage can be accepted if the appliance is used for improper purpose, wrongly operated, or unprofessionally repaired. In such a case, any warranty claim is void.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated or connected to an external timer or separate remote control switch.

Disposal

• Make worn-out appliances unusable. Pull out the mains plug and sever the cord.
• Electric appliances are to be returned to a shop of sale or handed over to an official dump.
• No household waste. Must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

How to Use

1. Preparation: Plug the appliance into the power outlet. Ensure the air inlet grille is attached.
2. Drying: Select the desired temperature (e.g., 30-40°C, 30-60°C, 30-80°C, 30-120°C) and air flow intensity (low, medium, or high). Optionally, attach the ondulating nozzle or diffuser for specific styling.
3. Cold Air Function: To set your hairstyle, press and hold the controller for the cold air function.
4. After Use: Switch the appliance off. Allow it to cool down properly before storing. Unplug from the power outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• First, remove the plug from the mains.
• Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and allow it to dry. Do not use solvents.
• Remove the air inlet grille periodically and clean it with a soft brush to ensure optimal performance.

This product is in conformity with the European guidelines for safety and EMC.

Warranty Information

This appliance comes with a 5-year guarantee starting from the date of purchase. The guarantee covers replacement or repair of the appliance in case of material or manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear, commercial use, improper use, or damage caused by external circumstances are excluded. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.
