Product Description
The Argo Tech Tower Humy is a digital ceramic heater that also features humidification and mood lighting. It is designed for use in properly insulated rooms or for occasional use.
General Safety Information
- Use the heater only as described in this manual. Any use not recommended by the manufacturer can cause fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
- Ensure the power supply matches the heater's electrical requirements (220-240V~/50-60 Hz).
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised or instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
- Children should not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and maintenance tasks for which the operator is responsible must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- This product is not a toy. Children under 3 years must be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Children between 3 and 8 years old shall only switch the appliance on or off if it has been placed or installed in its normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children between 3 and 8 years old shall not plug in the appliance, adjust or clean the appliance or carry out user maintenance.
- CAUTION: Some parts of the appliance can become very hot and cause burns. Extra caution is advised in the presence of children and vulnerable persons.
- To avoid the risk of unintentional setting of the thermal protection, this appliance should not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- NOTE: Do not use the heater with a timer or other external automatic switching device, as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is covered or incorrectly positioned.
- Do not cover the ventilation grilles.
- The heater gets very hot during use, and there is a risk of burns. Avoid unprotected skin contact with the hot surface.
- Keep flammable materials such as furniture, pillows, blankets, paper, clothing, curtains, and similar items at least 1 meter away from the front, back, and sides of the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use or for cleaning.
- Do not use the heater in dusty environments or in the presence of flammable vapors (e.g., in a workshop or garage).
- Do not place anything on the appliance or hang damp clothing over it.
- Use the heater in a well-ventilated room.
- Do not insert fingers or objects into the ventilation grilles, as this can lead to electric shock, fire, or damage to the heater.
- To prevent fire hazards, do not tamper with the grilles in any way while the heater is in operation.
- Do not switch on the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid risks.
- Do not use the heater if it has been dropped from a certain height or otherwise damaged. In such cases, contact customer service to have the appliance checked and any electrical or mechanical repairs carried out.
- The most common cause of overheating is dust accumulation in the appliance. Remove dust accumulations by unplugging the appliance and cleaning the grilles with a vacuum cleaner.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning products on the appliance. Clean it with a damp (not wet) cloth moistened with soapy water. Unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
- To disconnect the heater from the mains, turn the switch to OFF and then pull the plug from the socket. Pull the plug directly. Do not pull the cable to switch off the heater.
- Do not place objects on the cable and do not kink the cable.
- Do not use extension cords, as this can lead to overheating and the associated risk of fire. Do not use an extension cord for multiple devices.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not place the heater over or near another heat source.
- NOTE: DO NOT COVER THE HEATER TO AVOID OVERHEATING.
- There is a risk of fire if the heater is covered during operation or comes into contact with flammable materials such as curtains, throws, blankets, etc. KEEP THE HEATER AWAY FROM THESE MATERIALS.
- Do not connect the heater to the power supply until it has been properly assembled and positioned.
- Do not place the cable under carpets. Do not cover the cable with blankets, carpets, or similar items. Do not place the cable in passageways or where it can be accidentally pulled out.
- Do not use the heater in the immediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers, washbasins, or swimming pools.
- Do not use in bathrooms.
- Do not place the heater under a socket.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- A slight, but completely harmless, odor may occur during the first use. This odor is normal in connection with the initial heating of the internal elements and should not occur again later.
- CAUTION: THE POWER SUPPLY IS NOT ONLY DISCONNECTED VIA THE ON/OFF SWITCH. WHEN NOT IN USE, CHANGING POSITION, OR PERFORMING MAINTENANCE ON THE APPLIANCE, THE PLUG MUST ALWAYS BE PULLED FROM THE SOCKET.
- Heaters contain components that can generate arcs or sparks. The appliance must not be used in potentially hazardous areas (risk of fire, explosion, chemical substances, or highly humid air).
- Do not place the appliance on soft surfaces, such as a bed, as this could cover the grilles. During operation, the heater must always stand on stable, level surfaces to prevent tipping. Arrange the cable so that neither the heater nor any other objects are placed on it.
- Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
- Turn off the appliance when it is unattended to prevent accidents.
- In case of a malfunction (unusual noise or strange odor), turn off the appliance immediately. Do not attempt to repair it; take it to your nearest customer service.
- Do not inhale the steam escaping from the nozzle.
- Do not use acidic or alkaline solvents to clean the interior of this appliance: residues can impair the proper functioning of the appliance.
- Do not place the appliance on a high or slanted surface, as it may fall accidentally due to vibrations or impacts. Placing the appliance on an inclined surface could lead to a malfunction of the appliance, affecting the water level in the humidifier, which may result in shutdown or water loss.
- Do not place the appliance in areas with strong magnetic fields: this can lead to malfunctions.
- Do not place the appliance on or near furniture or curtains. The steam can make furniture or curtains damp and cause loss of color or shape. Furthermore, the powder contained in the steam can alter the surface of the furniture: it is therefore advisable to direct the steam jet directly at the furniture.
Attention
- To move the appliance, lift it by the base without tilting it to avoid water leaks.
- To fill or empty the tank, grasp the top of the appliance on both sides.
- Do not open the appliance during operation, do not come into contact with the water that forms at the bottom, do not scratch the atomizer or the ceramic disc with hard objects.
- The internal ultrasonic nebulizer is highly sensitive. Do not touch it with your fingers or rub it with metal accessories to avoid reductions in steam output.
- WARNING: An excessively humid environment can promote the proliferation of microorganisms: therefore, avoid curtains or carpets absorbing excessive moisture.
- It is also advisable to remove any remaining water from the tank after each use and to refill the water tank daily with clean water.
- Clean the water tank and nebulizer every 3 days and keep them clean. Do not add aromatic fragrances to the aquarium water.
- Do not connect the appliance to the power supply if there is no water in the tank or if the appliance is upside down: this will lead to malfunctions of the nebulizer.
- Do not move the appliance during operation: this can lead to water leaks or malfunctions.
- Do not touch the water or the internal parts of the appliance with any part of your body during operation.
- During winter, the water in the tank may freeze and cause malfunctions. Remove the water from the tank.
- Maintain your appliance by regularly cleaning the tank and atomizer thoroughly.
- Do not leave water in the tank and in the water pipes when the product is not in use.
- Do not allow water or objects to enter the air inlet and outlet, and do not block the air inlet and outlet. Do not pour water directly into the water pipe.
- Do not use hot water to avoid damaging the steam-generating parts.
- Ensure that the area around the humidifier does not become damp or wet. If moisture occurs, reduce the humidifier's output. If the output volume of the humidifier cannot be reduced, use the humidifier only intermittently. Avoid absorbent materials such as carpets, curtains, draperies, or tablecloths becoming damp.
- Empty and clean the humidifier before storage. Clean the humidifier before next use.
- Warning: Microorganisms that may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is used or stored can multiply in the water tank and be blown into the air, which can lead to very serious health risks if the water is not renewed and the tank is not properly cleaned every 3 days.
- Empty and refill the tank every 3 days. ?
- Clean it before refilling with fresh tap water or cleaning agents, if prescribed by the manufacturer. Remove any deposits, limescale, or films that have formed on the sides of the tank or on internal surfaces, and wipe all surfaces dry.
Failure to comply with the indicated safety and accident prevention regulations means the manufacturer cannot be held liable.

How to Assemble the Heater
Product Assembly Procedure
The appliance must first come into contact with the appliance's function and then proceed with assembly. Position the base on a stable surface, align the product body linearly with the base, and assemble it as shown: Align the pantry area with the scan over the base and ensure the product is in position.

Place the heater on a flat, stable surface. Connect the power cable to a suitable socket (220-240 V~/50-60 Hz).
Control Panel and Controls
1. POWER BUTTON
Touch this button on the control panel or press it on the remote control. A beep will sound and the appliance will turn on. The default settings are: COMFORT heating mode (the LED glows), the display shows a temperature of 35°C and the °C LED is lit. The fan turns on. To turn off the appliance, press this button again. Operation will be interrupted, but the fan will continue to run for another 30 seconds.
2. SWING BUTTON
Touch this button on the control panel or press it on the remote control to activate the horizontal oscillation of the heater. The LED on the control panel will light up. To deactivate the oscillation function, touch this button again.
3. TIMER BUTTON
With the appliance on, touch the timer button on the control panel or press it on the remote control to select the shutdown time in the following circular sequence: 0h (deactivate timer), 1h, 2h, 3h up to 24 hours. If no selection is made within 5 seconds of setting the time, or if the setting is not made via the Power button and the +/- buttons, the setting will be confirmed and the countdown to switch off the appliance will begin. When the countdown expires, the appliance will turn off and switch to standby mode without emitting an audible signal.
In standby mode, press the timer button, the h LED will light up, and you can then select the switch-on interval in the following circular sequence: 0h (timer deactivated), 1h, 2h, 3h up to 24 hours. If no selection is made within 5 seconds of setting the time, or if the setting is not made via the Power button and the +/- buttons, the setting will be confirmed and the countdown to switch on the appliance will begin. After the countdown expires, the appliance will start operating with the settings last selected before switching off (the shutdown timer is not saved).
4. +/- BUTTONS
Touch the +/- buttons on the control panel or press them on the remote control to adjust the temperature and set the timer. Holding down the buttons for 2 seconds will accelerate the setting.
6. TEMPERATURE SETTING BUTTON AND ECO SMART MODE SELECTION
Touch this button on the control panel or press it on the remote control to set the temperature and activate the Eco Smart function in the following circular sequence: Temperature setting, Eco Smart.
The temperature setting range is from 15°C to 35°C. If no selection is made during temperature setting, or if no other buttons are touched except the Power button and the +/- buttons, the setting will be confirmed.
When the room temperature reaches the set temperature, all functions will be deactivated and the appliance will switch to standby mode.
If the room temperature drops by 2°C compared to the set temperature, the appliance will turn on and start operating.
By default, the display only shows the current room temperature when the timer is activated. The display will alternate between the temperature and the countdown every 30 seconds.
Eco Smart Mode: When this mode is activated, the ECO LED on the control panel lights up. The appliance operates automatically based on the temperature detected in the room to save energy and use the appliance more efficiently:
- If the room temperature is 18°C or lower, the appliance operates in Eco mode.
- If the room temperature is above 18°C but below 25°C, the appliance operates in Eco mode.
- If the room temperature is 25°C or higher, all functions will be deactivated and the appliance will go into standby mode: Temperature setting is not possible in this mode, but the default temperature of 25°C applies.
7. HEATING MODE SETTING BUTTON
By touching this button on the control panel or pressing it on the remote control, you can set the desired heating mode in the following circular sequence: Eco – Comfort – Frost protection.
- Eco Mode: The appliance operates at a low heating level, the LED ECO on the control panel lights up.
- Comfort Mode: The appliance operates at a high heating level, the LED on the control panel lights up.
When switching from Eco to Comfort mode, this happens 10 seconds after selection, and the Eco LED turns off.
Frost Protection Mode: When the appliance switches to the intelligent frost protection mode, the LED on the control panel lights up and automatically maintains the room temperature at 7°C.
8. BUTTON TO DEACTIVATE DISPLAY BACKLIGHT
Touch this button on the control panel or press it on the remote control to turn the control panel backlight on or off. All LEDs will turn off. To reactivate the backlight, touch this button again.
9. BUTTON FOR AMBIENT LIGHTING
Press this button on the top of the water tank to turn the mood lighting on or off.
10. HUMIDITY BUTTON
When the appliance is operating, the countdown is automatically activated every 3 days. The LED around the edge flashes to indicate that cleaning is necessary. A cleaning warning is displayed, but it is still possible to activate the humidification function: this will reset the countdown. It is also possible to activate or deactivate the heating function normally.
When humidification is active, the appliance detects the water level in the tank: If a lack of water in the tank is detected, the appliance switches to the water shortage protection mode after approximately 6 seconds, and the mood light flashes for 1 minute: then press the humidification button and the mood light will stop flashing.
The cotton wick is completely dry when the appliance is first switched on. It is recommended to immerse it completely in water to shorten the absorption time.
AUTOMATIC STANDBY FUNCTION
After 12 hours of continuous operation and if no selection is made, the appliance will automatically turn off and switch to standby mode.
NIGHT FUNCTION
After 1 minute of operation, if no selection is made, the LEDs on the display will be deactivated to avoid disturbing sleep. To reactivate the lighting, touch any button on the control panel.
MEMORY FUNCTION
The appliance remembers the last selected settings (except for the timer) when it is switched on again; this state will not occur in the event of an accidental interruption of the power supply during operation.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
The appliance is equipped with a safety device that switches it off in case of overheating. If the safety device has been triggered, turn off the heater, unplug the power cord, and let the appliance cool down completely. Check if the air inlet or outlet is blocked, and try to restart the appliance. If this does not work or if the safety device switches off again, take the heater to the nearest service workshop for inspection or repair.
TILT PROTECTION
This appliance is equipped with a safety device that switches off the heater in case of accidental tilting. To reset it, unplug the appliance for a few minutes, remove the cause of the tilting, and reconnect the appliance. If the problem persists, contact a service center for inspection and repair.

Remove the transparent film attached to the remote control before first use. Use a CR2025 3V lithium-manganese button cell, model no. CR2025-3V, in accordance with Battery Directive REGULATION (EU) 2023/1542.
The battery is supplied with the product. Remove the plastic tab inserted into the remote control before first use so that it functions.

Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control, press on the back and pull the right flap. Insert the battery into the cover, paying attention to the correct polarity. Insert the cover into the remote control.

BATTERY WARNINGS
- Batteries must not be exposed to heat sources such as fire, sun, or similar sources.
- Remove the batteries if they heat up or if you know you will not be using the appliance for a long time.
- The batteries must be inserted correctly into the respective battery compartment.
- When removing batteries because they are damaged or have reached the end of their life, dispose of them in accordance with applicable national regulations.
- If battery fluid leaks, remove all batteries and prevent the leaked fluid from coming into contact with skin or clothing. If fluid from the battery comes into contact with skin or clothing, wash the skin immediately with water. Carefully clean the battery compartment with a paper towel before inserting new batteries or follow the battery manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning.
- Warning: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Use and replace batteries of the same size and type only.
- Improper use of batteries can lead to fluid leakage, overheating, or explosion. This fluid is corrosive and can be toxic. It can cause burns to skin and eyes and is harmful if ingested.
To reduce the risk of injury:
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not heat, open, puncture, cut, or throw batteries into fire.
- Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types.
- Do not leave metal objects that come into contact with the battery terminals, which could heat up and/or cause burns.
INFORMATION ON THE CORRECT DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES ACCORDING TO REGULATION (EU) 2023/1542.
Replace discharged batteries. Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste after their useful life. Used batteries must be handed in at a collection point for batteries or at a retailer that offers this service. The separate disposal of batteries protects the environment and prevents health damage resulting from improper waste disposal. Furthermore, recycling the materials they contain allows for significant savings in resources and energy. As an indication of the obligation for separate disposal, the symbol of the crossed-out waste bin is shown on batteries. Improper disposal of batteries by the user will be punished with fines in accordance with legal regulations.
Maintenance and Storage
CAUTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING OR SERVICING.
IMPORTANT: THE CERAMIC HEATER MUST NOT BE SUBMERGED IN WATER.
Cleaning the appliance surface
Dust the heater with a soft cloth. For heavier soiling, use a soft cloth, dampened with warm water (temperature below 50°C) and a neutral detergent. Allow the heater to dry completely before use. Do not use corrosive cleaning agents or solvents such as gasoline. Do not wash the appliance with water. Do not use oils, chemical substances, or other objects that could damage the surface during cleaning. Clean the ventilation grilles with a vacuum cleaner.
STORAGE
If the appliance is not used for a long time, pack it with the user manual in the original packaging and store it in a cool, dry place.
