Hotone Verbera Quick Start Guide
This guide provides a quick overview of the Hotone Verbera effects pedal.
Controls and Functions
- DECAY
ALT-IR: Adjusts the decay of the Convolution Reverb (IR).
ALT-XR: Adjusts the decay of the Extra Reverb (XR). - ATK/PRE-DL
ALT-IR: Adjusts the attack of the Convolution Reverb (IR).
ALT-GLOBAL: Adjusts the pre-delay of the entire wet signal. - TONE/MOD
ALT-GLOBAL: Adjusts the brightness of the wet signal.
ALT-GLOBAL: Adjusts the depth of the wet signal's modulation. - PRESET
Rotate: Cycles through saved presets.
Press: Saves the current preset to a specified location or renames it.
Long Press: Directly saves the preset to the current location. - MIX
ALT + IR: Adjusts the dry/wet mix of the Convolution Reverb.
ALT + XR: Adjusts the dry/wet mix of the Extra Reverb (XR). - IR
Rotate: Cycles through saved IRs.
Press: Sorts all IRs sequentially according to different rules. - ALT/MENU
Press: Switches between two functions for each knob. Each knob has the following functions:
ALT + IR: Adjusts IR parameters.
ALT + XR: Adjusts additional reverb parameters.
ALT + GLOBAL: Adjusts parameters for the entire wet signal.
Long Press: Enters the MENU interface. - CLONE
Long Press: Enters the IR cloning process. - ALT + CLONE
Enters the EXP setting interface for the current preset. - 10 & 11. ACTIVE / FREEZE
Switching between Stomp Mode and Control Mode: Control Mode / Preset Mode.
Control Mode:
ACTIVE: Toggles reverb on/off.
FREEZE: Toggles the reverb freeze function on/off.
Preset Mode:
ACTIVE: Switches to the previous preset.
FREEZE: Switches to the next preset. - 12. Input
Selects the input mode: Mono/Stereo/Auto.
For mono input: Connect a mono instrument using a 1/4-inch TS cable.
For stereo input: Connect stereo equipment using a 1/4-inch TRS cable or a Y-cable (shown below). - 13 & 14. Output
For mono output: Connect the OUT L/STEREO channel to a mono input device using a 1/4-inch TS cable.
For stereo output:
1. Connect the OUT L/STEREO channel to a stereo device with a TRS input using a 1/4-inch TRS cable.
2. Connect the OUT L/STEREO channel and OUT R channel to a stereo device with dual TS inputs using two 1/4-inch TS cables. - 15. Power Connection
Power input (9V DC, 1A, center-negative). - 16. USB
The USB 2.0 Type-C jack is for connecting to dedicated software for IR control and preset management. It supports USB PD protocol for power delivery. - 17. MIDI THRU
A standard MIDI thru interface for transferring MIDI messages via an 1/8-inch TRS cable. - 18. MIDI IN/EXP
Set the control mode to EXP/MIDI in the MENU. Connect MIDI devices or an expression pedal using an 1/8-inch TRS cable.
