Using the Pro BFG in Wireless Mode
To use the Pro BFG™ in wireless mode, switch the purple slider on the back of the controller to the wireless connection icon (?).
Plug the included wireless USB dongle into your PS5™, PS4™, or PC console. The LED on the dongle will flash purple.
Press and release the PS button on the front of the Pro BFG controller. The controller will connect.
Upon successful connection, the X-Logo on the controller and the LED on the dongle will light up purple.
To turn off the controller, press and hold the PS button for 5 seconds until the X-Logo LED turns off.
Note: This controller operates on a 2.4 GHz radio frequency. Interference may occur if other devices use the same frequency band. Verified functionality with PS5™ consoles (CFI-1000 series). The USB dongle is recommended for use with the front USB port of PS5™ consoles (CFI-1000 series).

Using the Pro BFG in Wired Mode
To use the Pro BFG in wired mode, switch the purple slider on the back of the controller to the cable icon (?).
Connect the included USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the top of the controller and the other end to your PS5™, PS4™, or PC console.
Press the PS button on the front of the controller to power on and connect.
Note: If the controller is set to wired mode but no USB cable is connected when the PS button is pressed, the function LED will briefly flash red for 1 second before turning off. Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the controller and the console.

Platform Switch
The Pro BFG can be used with PS5™, PS4™, and PC.
Use the 3-position purple slider switch located on the top of the controller (next to the USB-C port) to select between "PS5", "PS4", and "PC" modes to match your current platform.
Note: In PC mode (Xinput), the Pro BFG does not support headset audio or the touchpad function.

Tournament Lock Mode
The Pro BFG features a tournament lock mode to prevent accidental presses of system buttons (PS, CREATE, OPTIONS, touchpad) which could lead to disqualification. When enabled, these buttons are deactivated.
To activate: Press and quickly release the "Function" button (front) and the "Profile" button (back). The Function and Profile LEDs will glow dim red and flash periodically.
To deactivate: Press and quickly release the "Function" and "Profile" buttons again to return to normal mode.

Audio Settings
- To adjust game volume, press and hold the Up/Down buttons on the D-pad.
- To cycle through audio profiles, hold the "Function" button and press L1/R1. The "Function" button's LED will indicate the profile: purple for clear sound, blue for bass boost, or green for treble boost.
- To mute the microphone, double-press the "Function" button. The LED will turn orange.

Programmable Back Buttons
You can program the two rear paddle buttons.
To program: Press and hold the "Profile" button (back) and then press the desired back button. Once the Profile LED flashes, press any controller button to map its function to the selected back button. The Profile LED will flash three times quickly to confirm.
To clear/deactivate: Press and hold the "Profile" button and double-press the back button you wish to clear. The Profile LED will flash three times quickly to confirm.

Creating Custom Profiles
The controller can store three custom back button mapping profiles.
Press and release the "Profile" button on the back of the controller to cycle through the 3 profiles. The "Profile" LED will light up purple, blue, or green to indicate the active profile.
When mapping inputs to the back buttons, the "Profile" LED will flash the color of the currently active profile.
Trigger Stops
The Pro BFG features a patented Clutch Trigger mechanism with 5 adjustable trigger stop settings.
To set a trigger stop: Press and hold the clutch sliders on the back of the controller, then press the trigger to your desired stop position. Releasing the slider locks the trigger stop.
For Hair Trigger mode (fastest response): Press and release the clutch sliders without touching the triggers. Triggers will now act as digital buttons.
The Function LED indicates trigger stop adjustment: yellow for the left trigger, turquoise for the right trigger, and green if both are being adjusted simultaneously.

Module Removal and Replacement
The left module can be rotated 180° for either a standard PlayStation® controller layout or an offset layout. The right module can be replaced with a 6-button Fightpad module for fighting games.
To remove a module: Locate the purple module replacement tool in the carrying case. Unscrew the 2 hex screws on the module (they remain attached). Replace with your desired module and screw it back in.
Note: Recalibration is recommended after changing the left module layout.

Controller Recalibration
Recalibrate your controller after changing the left module layout or if you experience issues with analog sticks or triggers.
- Turn off the controller by holding the PS button for 5 seconds until the X-Logo LED is off.
- Switch the purple mode slider on the back to WIRED MODE (?).
- Hold down the D-PAD DOWN button and simultaneously plug in the USB-C cable. The X-Logo LED and white Function LED should flash rapidly.
- Press the "X" button. The LEDs will now flash slowly.
- Rotate both analog sticks in full 360° circles three times.
- Set both triggers to full travel using the clutch buttons, then press and release both triggers fully three times.
- Press D-PAD DOWN to exit recalibration mode and confirm the new calibration.

Analog Stick Cap Replacement
The Pro BFG includes 4 analog stick caps: 2 standard concave, 1 short convex, and 1 tall Sniper Stick.
To remove a cap: Firmly pull the analog stick cap off the controller.
To install a cap: Align the mounting collar and push down until it clicks securely into place.

D-Pad Replacement
To remove the D-pad: Hold it between two fingers and gently pull the module out.
To install the D-pad: Align it with the controller and gently push down until you hear a click.

Gate Replacement
First, remove the module you wish to change the analog stick gate on (refer to Module Removal/Replacement).
To remove a gate: Turn the module board so the back faces you. Firmly push the back of the gate with your thumb; it should pop out.
To install a gate: Ensure the front of the module board faces you. Align the small alignment dot on the gate with the corresponding dot on the module board (for octagonal gates). Push firmly until it snaps into place around the entire gate.

Battery Charging
The Pro BFG contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
- To charge the controller, connect the included USB-C cable to the controller and the other end to a PS5™, PS4™, or PC USB port.
- The X-Logo on the touchpad will light up and pulse while charging.
- When fully charged, the X-Logo will remain solid, indicating the battery is full.
- A low battery warning is indicated by the X-Logo flashing rapidly.
- When the battery is critically low, the X-Logo will turn off every minute, and a warning tone will sound through the connected headset.
