DocumentDocumentQuick Start Guide GO VOCAL High-Quality Microphone Preamp for Mobile Devices (EN) Getting started Install a 9V battery by sliding off the rear cover. Plug a pair of headphones into the headphone input. Move the Power switch to the ON position. If you have connected a condenser microphone, select the +48V position to supply phantom power. The 48V LED on the front panel will light red. Plug the attached cable into your device's headphone input or lightning adapter. Connect a microphone via XLR cable. While speaking into the microphone, turn up the GAIN wheel. If your voice distorts when singing or speaking loudly, turn the GAIN control back down a bit.
