Wash-basins in ceramic are resistant to most chemicals, except for strong acids and strong alkalis.

Wash-basins made of crushed marble should not come in contact with ammonia, acids, strong detergents, hair dye, or chlorine.

1. Plan your space: Start by considering the wall space available for a wash-stand and wash-basin. The GODMORGON series offers various sizes and storage capacities. Choose the color and finish that suits your needs and style. Wash-stands can be mounted to the wall or used with supporting legs. The drawers are designed for easy access with pull-out stops and removable dividers for customization. Transparent boxes can be added for extra organization.
2. Select your wash-basin: IKEA wash-basins come in different sizes and materials, including single, double, or countertop options. Choose between durable, easy-to-clean ceramic or smooth, durable crushed marble. All wash-basins include a water trap and strainer, with a flexible trap connectable to washing machines and dishwashers.
3. Choose your mixer tap: Select a tap based on function and design. Most taps include a strainer kit and feature a flow regulator that uses 50% less water. Many taps have a "cold water start" function, saving energy by releasing cold water first when the lever is lifted straight up. Lift the lever to the left to access hot water.
