Installation Instructions

1. Download the Meross App

Scan the QR codes [QR code] or search for "Meross" in the App Store [App Store] or Google Play [Google Play] to download the app.

2. Configure the Device

1. Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Ensure the smart hub has a strong Wi-Fi signal.
3. The smart hub supports iOS 13/iPadOS 13 and later. It is recommended to update your iOS or iPadOS to the latest version before pairing with the smart hub.
4. Launch the Meross app and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap "Register" to create a new account.
5. Tap the "+" icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then follow the setup wizard instructions to complete the configuration.
6. Moving a smart hub does not require additional operations, provided it remains on the same network with a strong Wi-Fi signal.

1. If this smart hub has not been added before, it needs to be reset before proceeding.
2. After configuration is complete, you can manage the device in the Apple Home app.
3. If the QR code does not work, try adding the smart device in the Apple Home app.

LED and Button Functions

1. LED Status Indicator (Sensor)

Green flashing once: Device is powered on.

Fast green flashing: Pairing mode.

Solid green: Connection successful. The LED will turn off automatically after 5 seconds.

2. Button (Sensor)

Insert a pin [pin] into the hole and press the button once; the LED will flash twice. Within 5 seconds:

1. Press the button again to enter pairing mode.
2. Then press and hold the button for 5 seconds to restore the device to factory settings.

3. LED Status Indicator (Smart Hub)

Solid orange: Initializing/Resetting/Updating software.

Flashing orange and green: Configuration mode.

Flashing green: Pairing mode / Connecting to Wi-Fi / Disconnecting from Wi-Fi.

Solid green: Connected to Wi-Fi with internet connection.

Solid red: No internet connection.

Usage Mode

1. General Settings

Device Name: Change the device name.

Smart Hub: Configure the smart hub and check its status.

User Manual: Consult the user manual.

Alert: Enable/disable push notifications.

Automation: Set specific trigger conditions to allow preset by other Meross smart devices.

Export History: Export historical logs.

2. Historical Logs

Records the times of opening and closing the sensor. Logs can also be deleted.

How to Install the Sensor

1. Test on-site to ensure the sensor can communicate correctly with the hub.

2. Remove the double-sided adhesive tape from the packaging and apply it to the product.

3. During installation, try to align the installation marking lines on the side of the main body and the magnet. Ensure the surface of the insertion point is clean and dry.

4. It is recommended that the main body (larger part) be installed on a fixed surface, and the magnet (smaller part) on a movable surface. The mounting distance should be less than 24 mm (0.94 in) when doors and windows are closed.

Battery Replacement

1. Prepare the pin [pin] and the sensor body.

2. Insert the pin [pin] into the slot.

3. Lift firmly to open the casing.

4. Remove and replace the CR2450 battery.

5. It is recommended to purchase Panasonic batteries that support smart devices to prevent rapid power depletion.
