Charging the Keyboard

Charge the keyboard via USB by connecting the included USB cable to the micro USB port. A red flashing LED light indicates low power. When fully charged, the LED indicator light will be green. For safety, please disconnect the charging cable when charging is complete.

Low Power Indicator Light: When the battery is low, the low power indicator light in the middle of the keyboard will flash red to indicate recharging the keyboard is recommended.

Establishing Pairing

1. Open the folding keyboard. The power indicator will be green for three seconds (if the indicator is flashing red, please recharge).
2. Press the Bluetooth channel key "Fn + one of Q, W, or E (01, 02, 03) then press Fn + pairing for 1 second. The blue LED light will flash, indicating the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode. The keyboard will remain in pairing mode for 3 minutes.
3. Open the Bluetooth menu of the external device you are attempting to pair with the keyboard. Find the "Targus Folding Ergonomic Bluetooth Keyboard" and select to connect.
4. After the pairing is successful, the indicator lights go out, and you can use the keyboard.
5. The keyboard can be connected to 3 Bluetooth devices at the same time. Repeat step 2 to connect another Bluetooth device.
6. Press "Fn + one of Q, W, or E (01, 02, 03) to switch between devices once multiple devices have been connected.
7. The folding keyboard will reconnect automatically upon opening after previously connecting to a device.

Help with Setup: Keyboard is not working

• Charge the keyboard.
• Restart your Bluetooth device and reopen your keyboard, or press Fn+Shift+Del to reset the keyboard.
• Press Fn + one of Q, W, or E (01, 02, 03) to select your Bluetooth device.
• After pairing for the first time, your device will automatically connect to the keyboard within 3-5 seconds the next time you turn the keyboard on.
• In case of connection failure, delete the keyboard from the Bluetooth menu of your device and try repairing the keyboard to your device.

Power Saving Mode

When paired, the keyboard will enter into sleep mode after being idle for 30 minutes. To activate the keyboard, press any key and wait 3 seconds. If unpaired, the keyboard will enter sleep mode after 15 seconds.
