Getting Started

This guide provides a quick overview of setting up your GoDEX ZX1000i+ Series barcode printer.

Step 1: Unboxing

Open the package and identify all components. The package contents may vary by region.

Step 2: Connecting the Printer

Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable. Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.

Connections:

1. Connect the USB cable to the printer and your computer.
2. Connect the power adapter to the printer and a power outlet.
3. Turn on the printer using the power switch.

Step 3: Loading Media

Follow these steps to load labels and ribbon:

Loading Labels:

1. Open the printer cover.
2. Place the label roll onto the spindle, ensuring it is centered.
3. Thread the label web through the printer, following the guides.
4. Close the printer cover.

Loading Ribbon (if applicable):

1. Place the ribbon core onto the supply spindle.
2. Thread the ribbon over the print head and onto the take-up spindle.
3. Ensure the ribbon is taut and properly aligned.

Step 4: Calibration and Setup

The printer may require calibration to recognize label sizes. Refer to the detailed manual for advanced setup options.
