01 Overview
The INKBIRD solar-powered wireless pool thermometer features a high-precision sensor and an IP68 waterproof construction. It supports solar power recharging, eliminating the need for frequent battery replacements and ensuring water resistance, which frees you from any worries and is environmentally friendly. The indoor monitor (Receiver) supports communication up to 300 meters (980ft) in open space, displaying both the pool temperature and indoor temperature and humidity for easy viewing.

02 Preparation Before Using

1 Make sure the batteries of the indoor monitor (receiver) are installed correctly and working properly. 01

2 Press the action button on the pool thermometer (Transmitter) to turn it on. After powering on, press the action button to switch between Celsius () or Fahrenheit (). To turn off the thermometer, press and hold the action button for 5 seconds.
3 We recommend that you place the pool thermometer in a location exposed to strong sunlight and use it after the battery reaches three bars 
. If you plan to use it in the sun for a long time, please ignore this step.

1 Action Button: To turn on the thermometer, shortly press it; to change the temperature unit, shortly press it after powering on; to turn off the thermometer, press and hold for 5 seconds.

2 Solar Panel: Please do not block or cover the solar panel.

3 Anti-collision Gasket: This is to protect the product from collisions and reduce the noise caused by collisions.

1 Channel number and corresponding battery level: The current channel number and its corresponding battery

level are displayed. If you switch to channel 8, each of the linked channels will be displayed in turn every 3 seconds. If the

icon

flashes, it indicates that the pool thermometer of the current channel has low power.

2 Water temperature and MAX/MIN values: The water temperature is displayed in real-time, along with the maximum and minimum values for the past 24 hours (24h) or all-time (All).

3 Water temperature comfort level: The current water temperature is shown to be in the cold /comfort / hot state. The comfort range is set to 78 to 86 (25.5 to 30) by default. This can be set using the action button, as explained in the Operation Instruction of Buttons on the Indoor Monitor (Receiver).

4 Time: The time can be displayed in either 12-hour or 24-hour format. This can be set using the action button, as explained in the Operation Instruction of Buttons on theIndoor Monitor (Receiver).

5 Indoor icon and battery level: The indoor area and battery level of the (Receiver) are displayed. If the icon

is

flashing, it indicates low battery power.

6 Indoor real-time temperature: The indoor ambient temperature is displayed in real-time, which is the temperature at the location of (Receiver), with a display accuracy of ±0.1/.

7 Indoor real-time humidity: The indoor ambient humidity is displayed in real-time, which is the humidity at the location of the (Receiver), with a display accuracy of ±1%.

Operation Instruction of Buttons on the Indoor Monitor (Receiver).

Press once to select the time display mode for the max/min values;
Long press to reset the max/min record;
In the setting state, press to decrease the parameter.

Press once to change the temperature unit;
Long press to enter the setting mode.

Press once to switch the channel; Remove all of the paired pool thermometers; In the setting state, press to increase the parameter.

After entering the setting mode 1.When "12h" is blinking at the position for time, press the  or  button to switch to "24h", then press the  button to go to step 2; 2.The hour parameter of time will flash. Press the  or  button to adjust the hour parameter, then press the  button to go to step 3; 3.The minute parameter of time will flash. Press the  or  button to adjust the minute parameter, then press the  button to go to step 4; 4.The icon "COLD" will flash. Press the  or  button to adjust the parameter (when the water temperature is lower than this value, it is cold), then press the  button to go to step 5; 5.The icon "HOT" will flash. Press the  or  button to adjust the parameter (when the water temperature is higher than this value, it is hot), then press the  button to complete the setting.

Tips: If any of the above steps do not require adjustment, just click "  " to proceed to the next step. 05

Press the MAX/MIN button once to display and flash the current recording period of max/min values. Press it again to select either 24H or ALL.Confirm and wait for the flashing to stop, which means you confirm your selection.
1 The displayed MAX and MIN values represent the highest and lowest values recorded in the past 24 hours. 2 All time and it displays the MAX and MIN values which are the highest and lowest values since starting up or the last
recording reset.
Note: After resetting records or rebooting, the MAX and MIN values will be recorded over again.

a. Firstly, make sure the batteries of the indoor monitor (receiver) are installed correctly and working properly. 08

b. Secondly, make sure that the pool thermometer (transmitter) is turned on, and place the thermometer as close to the indoor monitor (receiver) as possible. And press the black button on the thermometer to pair. c. Once the indoor monitor (receiver) receives the data sent from the pool thermometer (transmitter), the connection between them is established automatically, and the monitor (receiver) will complete adding a sub-device and display the channel number of the pool thermometer (transmitter). Note: If you fail to add sub-devices, please restart the pool thermometer (transmitter), and repeat steps b~c to add the device.
06 Precautions for Use
a. Please do not disassemble the product if you are not a professional. b. Be sure that the sensor is not covered with dust as dust may lead to inaccurate measurements. c. Do not use alcohol to clean the sensor. d. Do not dispose the product in a fire as it may explode. Please observe local regulations for proper disposal of discarded
electronic products. e. Remove from pool when not in use or while cleaning the pool so unit is not damaged by skimmers or other devices. f. The pool thermometer's temperature measurement range is -40 to 70 (-40 to 158), making it unsuitable for use in

extreme temperatures below -40/-40 or above 70/158.
g. The indoor monitor's temperature measurement range is -10 to 60 (14 to 140), making it unsuitable for use in extreme temperatures below -10/ 14 or above 60/140.
h. The humidity measurement range of the indoor monitor is 0% to 99% RH. It should be kept away from environments with high temperatures or high humidity.

Possible Cause The battery is low because the product has not been charged by solar power for a prolonged period.
The batteries are installed upside down.

Possible Solution Leave the product in direct sunlight for 10 hours, the stronger the sunlight the better, then restart the product.
Reinstall the batteries.
