Attaching the Battery
NOTE: For optimal performance, charge a new battery 14 to 16 hours before initial use.
1. Align the battery with the rails on the back of the radio. 2. Slide the battery upwards until the latch snaps into place. 3. Lock the battery latch.
Attaching the Antenna
1. Turn off the radio. 2. Set the antenna in the receptacle and turn clockwise.
Turning the Radio On and Off
Rotate the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise or counterclockwise until a click sounds.
Adjusting the Volume
Rotate the On/Off/Volume knob clockwise or counterclockwise.
LED Indicators
Blinking Red Radio has failed the self-test upon powering up, goes out of range if Auto-Range Transponder System is configured, is receiving an emergency transmission, or is transmitting at a low battery level.
Solid Green Radio is powering up, transmitting, or indicating full battery capacity when the programmed Battery Strength button is pressed.
Blinking Green Radio is receiving a call or data, or detecting activity over the air.
Solid Yellow Radio is monitoring a conventional channel or indicating fair battery capacity when the programmed Battery Strength button is pressed.
Blinking Yellow Radio is scanning for activity or has yet to respond to a Call Alert.
Double Blinking Yellow Radio is locked or has yet to respond to a Group Call Alert.

Menyalakan dan Mematikan Radio
Putar kenop Nyala/Mati/Volume searah atau berlawanan arah jarum jam sampai terdengar bunyi klik.
Menyesuaikan Volume
Putar kenop Nyala/Mati/Volume searah atau berlawanan arah jarum jam.
Indikator LED
Berkedip Merah Radio gagal melakukan uji mandiri setelah dinyalakan, keluar dari jangkauan jika Sistem Transponder Auto Range dikonfigurasikan, sedang menerima transmisi darurat, atau sedang melakukan transmisi dalam kondisi baterai lemah.
Hijau Tidak Berkedip Radio sedang dinyalakan, melakukan transmisi, atau mengindikasikan kapasitas baterai penuh saat tombol Kekuatan Baterai terprogram ditekan.
Berkedip Hijau Radio sedang menerima panggilan atau data, atau mendeteksi aktivitas melalui udara.
Kuning Tidak Berkedip Radio sedang memantau saluran konvensional atau mengindikasikan kapasitas baterai sedang saat tombol Kekuatan Baterai terprogram ditekan.
Berkedip Kuning Radio sedang memindai aktivitas atau belum merespons Peringatan Panggilan.
Berkedip Kuning Dua Kali Radio terkunci atau belum merespons Peringatan Panggilan Grup.
