Troubleshooting
Under normal operating conditions, if you encounter problems with the product, please refer to the following solutions:
- Cannot take photos or video: Check if the TF card has enough space and is not locked ?.
- Recording stops automatically: This may be due to large high-definition video data. Use an SDHC compatible high-speed TF card (C10 identity).
- File errors during replay: If you encounter a "File" prompt indicating an error with TF card memory data or incomplete files, use the Car DVR "Format" function to reformat the card.
- Foggy image: Please check the lens for dirt and fingerprints. Before shooting, wipe the lens with lens paper.
- Recorder not working: You can press the reset key ⚙️ with a sharp object and then restart the device to restore normal operation.
- Network access permission: For the first time, open network access permission and the local photo album.
- Mobile phone connection issues: First, check if your mobile phone is connected to other Wi-Fi hotspots. The app can only connect to the recorder when the mobile phone's Wi-Fi settings are connected to the recorder. If you cannot connect, verify that your mobile phone's Wi-Fi is connected to the home Wi-Fi network.
- Stuck real-time picture: This is generally related to the Wi-Fi signal. If the mobile phone is too far from the recorder, the Wi-Fi signal may be weak, causing the real-time picture to freeze. Additionally, too many Wi-Fi signals around the recorder can interfere and cause the real-time picture to jam.
- Slow album preview: This may occur if there are too many video files on the TF card, leading to timeouts when obtaining file information. It is advised to format TF cards regularly.
- Multiple device connections: While many clients can connect, only one mobile phone can be linked at a time. If a mobile phone cannot connect, ensure the recorder is not already connected to other mobile phones.
- Playing video recordings on a computer: The product uses H.264 compression format (MOV or MP4). Some built-in playback software on computers (like Windows Media Player) may not support H.264 encoding, leading to playback issues such as choppy video, frozen frames, or unsynchronized audio. It is recommended to download professional playback software (e.g., Potplayer).
