The FBA series offers round aluminium air diffusers designed for installation in floors. These diffusers are suitable for comfort areas and provide flexible air distribution solutions. Various attachments allow for a wide range of applications, installation conditions, and volume flow balancing options.

Application

• Floor diffusers serving as supply air diffusers for comfort areas.
• Installation in raised floors without a plenum box, provided the floor is constructed as a pressurized floor.
• Installation in raised floors with a plenum box to enable individual ventilation in rooms or zones.
• Supports vertical supply air flow; with an adjustable swirl unit, horizontal air flow is also possible.
• Variants with adjustable swirl units can be manually set for vertical or horizontal air routing.
• Attractive design element with various surface types, suitable for building owners and architects with demanding aesthetic requirements.

Special Features

• Simple and quick assembly and covering of the installation opening when used with a trim ring and spring clip fixing.
• Installation in hard flooring requires a spacing ring. The spacing ring is included if no trim ring is selected.
• High crush resistance: > 17 kN.
• The grille insert is torsion-proof and centred when used with a trim ring.
• Available with or without a swirl unit to allow for various air patterns.
• A dirt trap reduces floor contamination and facilitates volume flow rate balancing. It can be adjusted from the diffuser front and back surface.

Grille Insert (Floor Diffuser)

• Ring spacing: 6 mm.
• Height-adjustable dirt trap serving as a reduction element for volume flow rate balancing.
• Adjustable swirl unit for vertical or horizontal swirling air flow or air routing.

Trim Ring with Spring Clip Fixing

• Provides rotation lock and centring for the grille insert.
• Covers the installation opening.
• Spring clip fixing accommodates variations in raised floor thickness and large cut-out tolerances. For the tightest possible fit, a minimum installation dimension is recommended.
• Works well with soft flooring, e.g., carpet.

Attachments

• Spacing ring: Holds the grille insert for variants without a trim ring.
• Trim ring with spring clip fixing: Accommodates the grille insert and attaches to the installation opening.
• Adjustable swirl unit: For vertical or horizontal swirling air flow.
• Fixed swirl unit: For vertical air flow (only for nominal size 200).
