Key Features and Operations
- Manual Searching: Switch to manual mode to step through frequencies or hold the MANUAL key for a slower search rate.
- Storing Frequencies: Save any found frequency into an available memory channel by pressing ENTER followed by the channel number.
- -12.5 KHz Switch: Utilize this feature for compatibility with 800 band systems using 12.5 KHz offsets. It functions exclusively within the 800 MHz band.
- Programming Channels: Enter frequencies into memory channels using the "MANUAL" mode. Follow the step-by-step instructions for accurate programming.
- Scanning: Activate scanning of programmed memory channels by pressing the SCAN key. Adjust the squelch control to optimize performance.
- Channel Lockout: Omit specific channels from the scanning sequence by selecting them in scanning mode.
- Scan Delay: Activate the "DELAY" mode to prevent missing transmissions by having the scanner wait a few seconds after a transmission ends.
- Manual Operation: Monitor a single channel continuously by repeatedly pressing the MANUAL key until the desired channel is displayed.
