Installation Instructions

⚠️ WARNING: Installation requires electrical wiring knowledge. If you are not comfortable with electrical work, consult a qualified electrician.

Tools Required: Screwdriver, wire strippers, voltage tester.

Turn off power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the power to the existing switch and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
Remove existing switch: Unscrew and remove the old switch from the wall box. Carefully note the wire connections.
Identify wires: In the wall box, you will typically find line (hot), load, neutral, and ground wires. The SU101D requires a neutral wire. If no neutral wire is present, this timer cannot be installed.
Connect wires to SU101D:
- Connect the Line (power source) wire to the terminal marked 'L'. ⚡️
- Connect the Load wire (to the device being controlled) to the terminal marked 'LOAD'. ?
- Connect the Neutral wire to the terminal marked 'N'. ⚪️
- Connect the Ground wire to the green ground screw. ?

Operation and Programming

The SU101D features an intuitive interface for setting schedules.

Setting the Clock:

Press and hold the 'SET' button for 3 seconds.
The hour will flash. Use the 'UP' ⬆️ and 'DOWN' ⬇️ buttons to adjust the hour.
Press 'SET' again to confirm the hour and move to the minute.
Use 'UP' ⬆️ and 'DOWN' ⬇️ to adjust the minutes.
Press 'SET' again to confirm the minutes and move to the day of the week.
Use 'UP' ⬆️ and 'DOWN' ⬇️ to select the current day.
Press 'SET' one final time to save the clock settings.

Setting ON/OFF Programs:

The timer can store up to 8 programs (4 ON, 4 OFF). Programs can be set for specific days or groups of days (e.g., weekdays, weekends).

Press the 'PROG' button. The display will show P1 ON.
Set the desired ON time for Program 1 using 'UP' ⬆️ and 'DOWN' ⬇️ buttons. Press 'SET' to confirm.
Set the desired ON day(s) for Program 1. Use 'UP' ⬆️ and 'DOWN' ⬇️ to cycle through day options (e.g., Every Day, Weekdays, Weekends, Mon, Tue, etc.). Press 'SET' to confirm.
The display will show P1 OFF. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the OFF time and day(s) for Program 1.
Continue this process for Programs 2 through 8.
Press 'MODE' to cycle through display options: Auto (scheduled operation), Manual ON, Manual OFF.

Random Function: Press the 'RANDOM' button to activate or deactivate the random security feature. When active, the ON/OFF times will shift randomly by a few minutes.
