1. Introduction

1.1 Main Highlights

The card allows the integration of the AUDIGIN-TEX option into systems that use digital audio distribution with TEX-LCD exciters.
It is located on the rear panel of the TEX-LCD and connects internally to the audio motherboard via a 10-pin flat connector.
The card converts digital signals into "Left" and "Right" analog signals for delivery to the modulator.
It can be added without special adjustments to the analog audio input section; updating the firmware is not required.
The system offers twelve cyclical queries to quickly find the active channel and put it on air.
If a digital input is present, it is automatically selected by the system's logic. Automatic switching occurs between balanced (AES/EBU) or optical (TOSLINK) digital inputs.
Two trimmers allow adjustment of the converted digital input level to normalize the R and L signals relative to the analog input level.
D/A conversion is performed by 24-bit converters with sampling frequencies from 32 to 96 KHz.
The card supports S/PDIF, AES/EBU, IEC958, and EIAJ CP340/1201 data formats.
