Selecting Programs and Settings
Programs can be selected using the program selector dial, or via the display for additional programs. You can also supplement wash programs with various options such as SingleWash, SoftSteam, Buzzer, Pre-wash, Gentle, Eco, ExtraRinse, Soak, AllergyWash, and more. Temperature and spin speed can be adjusted using the sensor buttons.
Detergent Dispensing
The Miele WXI 860 WCS offers automatic detergent dispensing with TwinDos, or manual dispensing via the detergent drawer. Special Miele detergents like UltraPhase 1 and 2, and Miele Capsules are recommended for optimal performance. Ensure correct detergent is used for each compartment and program.
Cleaning and Care
Regular cleaning of the detergent drawer, siphons, and the drum (using the 'Clean Machine' program) is recommended, especially when washing at low temperatures, to prevent bacteria and odor build-up. Refer to the guide for detailed cleaning instructions.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues such as the control field remaining dark, door lock faults, drainage problems, or excessive foam, consult the troubleshooting section. Common solutions include checking power supply, ensuring the door is closed correctly, cleaning filters, and adjusting detergent dosage.
