Safety Precautions

• Place the device on a flat surface.
• Position the device so that there is always enough space on its sides for free air circulation (at least 10 cm).
• Do not place any objects on top of the device.
• Do not cover the ventilation slots above and behind the device.
• The appliance must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. No liquid-filled objects, such as vessels, should be placed on the appliance.
• No source of naked flame, such as lighted candles, shall be placed on the appliance.
• The cables must be hidden and protected to prevent tripping by someone and the consequent fall of the appliance.
• Keep the appliance away from the following locations: near heat sources (radiators, stoves, direct sunlight, etc...); near wetlands (bathrooms, swimming pools, etc...); dusty areas; areas subject to strong vibrations.
• Unplug the power cord during thunderstorms or for long periods of inactivity.

Description of Controls

• 1. USB Type-C Charging Socket: For charging the battery.
• 2. Button [Previous Song/Volume Down]: Short press for previous song, long press to decrease volume.
• 3. Button [Play/Pause/Power/Call]: Press and hold for Power On/Off. Short press for Play/Pause music, Answer/End calls.
• 4. Button [Next Song/Volume Up]: Short press for next song, long press to increase volume.
• 5. Microphone: For calls.
• 6. microSD Card Input: For playing music from a microSD card.
• 7. LED Indicator: Shows charging status and Bluetooth pairing status.
• 8. 3.5mm Audio Jack: For wired connection.

[Hearing Protection Warning] To avoid possible hearing damage, limit listening time at high volumes.

Battery Charging

The headphones have an internal rechargeable battery.

First Use: Charge for 3-4 hours for a full charge. A fully charged battery provides approximately 10 hours of music playback.

To Recharge:

• Connect the included USB/USB Type-C cable to a USB port on an external device (computer, tablet) or a 5V USB power adapter (not supplied).
• Connect the other end of the cable to the charging port (1) on the headphones.
• The LED indicator (7) will light red during charging.
• The LED indicator (7) will turn blue when charging is complete.

Low Battery Indication: When the battery is low, you will hear the message "Battery low" several times before the headphones automatically turn off.

Power On and Off

To Turn On: Press and hold the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) for a few seconds. A voice prompt "Power On" will sound.

To Turn Off: Press and hold the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) for a few seconds. A voice prompt "Power Off" will sound.

Auto Turn Off: The headphones will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity if Bluetooth pairing is not active. To turn them on again, you must switch them on manually.

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

1. Turn on the headphones. The LED indicator (7) will start flashing blue and red.
2. The voice guide will announce "Bluetooth mode".
3. Enable Bluetooth on your external device (phone, tablet, etc.) by referring to its manual.
4. On your external device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "DJI2E42BT".
5. When pairing is successful, the voice guide will announce "Connecting".

Note:

• Connection may be interrupted if devices move too far apart; it usually restores automatically. If not, repeat the pairing procedure from step 1 to 5.
• To pair with a new device, disconnect from the old device first and repeat the pairing procedure from step 1 to 5.
• Keep devices within 1 meter during pairing. Normal operating range is approximately 10 meters.

Music Playback

Manage music playback from the paired device using the headphone buttons:

• Press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) to play or pause music.
• Press the [Next Song/Volume Up] button (4) to skip to the next song.
• Press the [Previous Song/Volume Down] button (2) to go to the previous song.

Note: Due to ongoing Bluetooth technology evolution, some devices may not be fully compatible with the TREVI DJ 12E42 BT.

Volume Adjustment

Adjust audio volume using the following buttons:

• Long press the [Next Song/Volume Up] button (4) to increase volume.
• Long press the [Previous Song/Volume Down] button (2) to decrease volume.

Call Handling on Mobile Phone

Handle calls using the headphones:

• Answering a call: Short press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) when a call arrives.
• Ending a call: Short press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) during a conversation.
• Rejecting an incoming call: Long press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3).
• Redialing the last number: Quickly double-press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3).

Music Playback with Micro SD Card

1. Insert a microSD card into the input (6) with the contacts facing outwards.
2. Turn on the device and press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) three times until the voice guide announces "Play by TF card".
3. Press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) to play or pause music.
4. Press the [Next Song/Volume Up] button (4) to skip to the next song.
5. Press the [Previous Song/Volume Down] button (2) to go to the previous song.

FM Radio (Export Version Only)

1. Turn on the device and press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) three times until the voice guide announces "FM mode".
2. Press the [Play/Pause/Power/Call] button (3) to start automatic radio station scanning.
3. Press the [Next Song/Volume Up] button (4) to go to the next radio station.
4. Press the [Previous Song/Volume Down] button (2) to go to the previous radio station.

Wired Function

Use the headphones as passive headphones by connecting them via a 3.5mm stereo jack cable to an external device. Music playback is controlled by the external device.

Warnings for Proper Use of Rechargeable Battery

• Charge the battery at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C.
• Do not extend charging beyond the indicated time to avoid overheating and explosion risks.
• Overcharging or prolonged inactivity can shorten battery life.
• The rechargeable battery is subject to wear and its capacity gradually decreases.
• To prolong battery life, use it when fully charged, discharge it completely, then fully charge it again before next use.
• Charging a battery that is not fully depleted will reduce its lifespan. In such cases, repeat the full charge/discharge cycle multiple times.

Information on Battery Removal and Disposal

Warning: This operation should only be performed by qualified personnel!

The appliance must not be plugged into the mains socket during this operation.

Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste, thrown into fire, or water. Used batteries should be recycled or disposed of at designated separate collection centers.

To remove the battery:

1. Remove the cushion from the R ear cup.
2. Unscrew the screws and open the earcup housing.
3. Locate the battery and remove it by unplugging it from the power cables.
