AUDIO EVERYWHERE SETUP
Let's get this audio started!
The Audio Everywhere system setup involves an Audio Source connected via line-level audio to an MX-5 AE Server. The AE Server connects to the network via an Ethernet Switch, linking to the Internet and Cloud Services. A smartphone connects wirelessly to a router, which also functions as a Wireless Access Point (WAP). All devices must be on the same public network.
-
Connect Audio
Connect the audio source(s) to the server via the RCA connectors on the rear panel. The input jacks accept line-level mono input. For stereo output, use two audio inputs for L and R audio, then select "stereo" in the Cloud Server. Refer to Cloud Service Setup at www.listentech.com/support/manuals.
-
Network Connection & Power
Connect the AE Server to your local area network (LAN) via the ethernet port on the back of the server. Plug in the power cable. The LAN requires at least one wireless access point (WAP) and a router (or wireless router, or DHCP server). The server and smartphones must be on the same public network.
-
Download App
Download the Audio Everywhere app from the App Store or Google Play. Join the Wi-Fi network associated with the Venue Server (i.e., on the same LAN). Launch the app, select a channel to stream, and enjoy.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIP
Experiencing lack of signal? Check IP addresses on the Venue Server and smartphones to ensure they are on the same public network.

LISTENRF SETUP: Transmitter
The ListenRF transmitter setup involves connecting an Audio Source to an RF Transmitter. The transmitter has antenna outputs for LT-803 (top) and LT-800 (back), and a power input. It connects to an MX-5 AE Server via an RJ45 network cable connected to a Dante Audio Adapter.
-
Connect Antenna
For the LT-803, remove the rubber plug on the top of the unit and connect the antenna. For the LT-800, connect the antenna to the back of the unit.
-
Connect Power
Plug the power supply into the power connector on the back panel, then into an outlet. Turn on by pressing the power button.
-
Connect Audio
Input 1 is a balanced connection using an XLR or 1/4" phono connector. Input 2 has two unbalanced mixing RCA connectors.
OR Connect Dante Audio Adapter with Audio (optional)
If using the Dante Audio Adapter, connect the RJ45 network cable into the Dante Adapter. Plug one XLR output into input 1 on the LT-800/803 and the other XLR output into the MX-5 AE server.
