Getting Started

Welcome to your new EVNIA gaming monitor. This guide will help you set up your display quickly and easily.

Monitor Adjustment

The monitor stand allows for ergonomic adjustments:

Tilt: The screen can be tilted from -5° (down) to +20° (up).
Swivel: The monitor can be swiveled approximately ±15° left and right.
Height Adjustment: The screen height can be adjusted by up to 120mm.

Caution: When placing the monitor face down for setup, use a smooth, protected surface to avoid scratching the screen.

Connectivity

Connect your devices using the available ports:

USB Type-C: Supports display, data, and power delivery (check specifications for power output).
HDMI 1 & HDMI 2: High-Definition Multimedia Interface for video and audio.
DisplayPort: Another high-quality digital interface for video and audio.
USB A-B: Typically used for upstream connection to a PC for the monitor's USB hub and KVM functionality.
USB A-C: For connecting devices to the monitor's USB hub.
USB Hub: Multiple USB Type-A ports are available on the monitor for connecting peripherals.

KVM Functionality: The monitor supports Keyboard, Video, and Mouse (KVM) switching, allowing you to control multiple PCs with a single set of peripherals connected to the monitor.

Connecting Multiple PCs:

Connect PC1 to the monitor via USB Type-C or HDMI/DisplayPort and USB A-B (upstream).
Connect PC2 to the monitor via HDMI/DisplayPort and USB A-B (upstream).
Use the monitor's OSD menu to switch between PC1 and PC2 sources and control them with your connected keyboard and mouse.

MultiView (PIP/PBP)

The monitor supports MultiView, allowing you to display content from two different sources simultaneously:

Picture-in-Picture (PIP): Displays a secondary source in a smaller window within the main screen.
Picture-by-Picture (PBP): Splits the screen to display two sources side-by-side.

You can select the main and sub sources for these modes via the monitor's On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. The 'SWAP' function allows easy switching between main and sub sources.

On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

Access and navigate the OSD menu using the control buttons on the monitor or the included remote control.

The OSD menu typically includes sections for:

Input: Select the active input source (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, DisplayPort, USB-C).
Audio: Adjust audio settings.
System: Configure general system preferences.
Setup: Access advanced settings and features.

Key settings available within the OSD include:

Resolution: Supports up to 3840x2160 (4K UHD).
Refresh Rate: Supports up to 60Hz (as indicated in the OSD screenshots).
SmartImage: Enhances picture quality based on content type (e.g., Standard, FPS, Racing, RTS, Movie, LowBlue Mode, Economy).
SmartImage Game Mode: Specific optimizations for gaming, including features like Adaptive Sync, Crosshair, Dynamic DarkBoost, SharpShooter, Low Input Lag, and SmartFrame.
HDR: High Dynamic Range settings (e.g., HDR Game, HDR Movie, HDR Vivid, Personal).
Adaptive Sync: Enables or disables Variable Refresh Rate technology (e.g., Adaptive Sync On/Off).
Brightness & Contrast: Adjust screen brightness and contrast levels.
SmartContrast: Dynamically adjusts contrast for deeper blacks.
Gamma: Adjust gamma settings (e.g., 2.2).
Sharpness: Adjust image sharpness.
sRGB: Color space setting.
