The diagram shows the adapter (HCCS-H64H2C1M) with connections to the Address DIP switch, Electric meter, Outdoor unit, Indoor unit, Router, and Power adapter. The wiring includes 485 commu. cable, H-NET commu. cable, and Internet cable.
- H-NET communication cable connects to H-NET terminals 1 and 2 of indoor and outdoor units.
- 485 communication cable connects to the RS485 end of the electric meter (A to D1+, B to D0-).
- Internet cable connects to the router's LAN port for wired connections.
- Power adapter connects to the AC100-240V plug, selecting the appropriate AC plug for on-site conditions.
Wiring Requirements:
- a. Length of wire stripping: 6mm.
- b. Fix wires at the designated trunking location.
4. Configuration
4.1 DIP switch setting
When multiple adapters (up to 3) are connected to one H-NET communication cable, DSW1 must be set. The diagram indicates DIP switch positions (ON/OFF) for addresses 0xA0 through 0xA7.
Note: ☑ indicates the location of the DIP switch; ☐ indicates no attention is needed.
4.2 Electric meter setting
When connecting to a Schneider electric meter, the slave address of the electric meter must be set. Communication parameters default to the electric meter's default settings: Baud rate: 19200, parity: even. Slave address = corresponding refrigerant system number + 1. The setting diagram illustrates this relationship.
4.3 APP download
Search for and install the "Hi-Mit II" App from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store. Recommended smartphone OS: Android 6.0 or iOS 10.0 or later. A QR code is provided for downloading the user manual.
